Shad0 - I'm in it, and I'm not on LIVE, so it's not just for live people. But, it may also be mainly used for that, and this forum seems like the best place to put it right now, since many of us are on LIVE.

I'm confused. Once accessible, do we add/edit info ourselves, or do we PM all the info in the initial request?

All information should be included in the original request. We're trying to keep it as secure as possible so only the mods have edit rights.

It's basically just a secure place to post your info so we all can stay in touch, it is not directly linked to halo 2 on xbox live.

While I agree this may not be the best place for the post as far as publicity is concerned that may be exactly what we want. It is very much a word of mouth operation, we only want to allow access to those people that to the best of our knowledge will not use it in an incorrect manner. For me, as a mod, that means only allowing people that I have been in contact with regularly through the game, or have met in person to have access.

Just as a matter of ease, could we get some guidelines on what people want to see? IM names, email addresses, phone numbers maybe? What seems to be the average amount of info shared, here?

Also, I can't seem to get in, though I think I was added by someone (I'm guessing based on the four T-names referenced at the site)... how can I log in?

So what information is listed?

Name? Phone #? City? Address?

Question

Aye, good question. The current list of fields, which could change any time thebruce gets bored... or flatulates... is:

Email
Password
Common Name (probably unfiction name)
Gamertag
Full name
Contact #
Timezone
Location(country, address, etc.)
Homepage URL
Unfiction profile url
Photo url
IMs

There, for lazy people like me. I just checked the site though and didn't see your name on there TridenT.

Hmmm. Then you wouldn't be the one for me to PM, I guess, angelo. Sad Wink

For those of you waiting for me to add you, I will, I just haven't made time for it. Sorry! Prolly at work tomorrow, when I have time.

Ok, I am at work now, and that means I will be on the internet all day. PM me your info if you want to be added to the list. Use the template above.

hehe. Sometimes I wonder how the internet affects people's efficiency at work! Laughing

One question. If a mod inputs my info on bruce's list, can any other mod change it later on?

Okay, so how can I tell how/when this has been done?

Yes, any mod can change it.

And as for the internet at work...I just opened a small landscape supply shop for my father. Summer, spring, and fall are all decent busy times of the year, and now that winter is approaching, things slow up a lot. I don't have enough work to keep me occupied all day.

That's where the WorldWideWeb comes in. I mess around doing research on random topics, play games, work bits and pieces of our business site..pretty much what I want when I want. It's not a bad deal. Get paid to play on the net. It doesn't really effect my efficiency that much because when I do have work I'm like, "Nice! I actually have something that I can do today!" and I do it right away.

I'm the same way. I work tech support in a university library part time (I'm also a grad student) and the workload day to day mainly depends on how much stuff breaks. So days like today, here I am Smile
