 		the time is fine for me, but where are we meeting? i'm a complete idiot when it comes to IRC because i've never used it before, so some instructions as to how i get to the chat would be useful.

 		We just got about 6 inches of snow here and the roads are pretty bad, so I probably won't be at the meeting, It will probaby take me and hour or so just to get home when I leave work at 9:30.

If anyone can provide a log of the meeting that would be great.

Director Ben: After this meeting, all agents with pending request will be confirmed.
Director Ben: Now, the floor belongs to the team. I will answer any and all questions to the best of my ability.
Director Ben: But please, one at a time.
TJ229ER: When will we receive our first mission?
Director Ben: December 28 is when you will receive your first OFFICIAL assignment.
Mindmaster15: and unofficially?
Karmic_Crimewave: And the hidden "voice" wav. That would be unofficial?
SnareRushJunkie: yeah. is there anything of high importance in there?
Director Ben: High importance? No, otherwise it wouldn't be accessible from the front page of our website. But it does have a high bearing on Pandora Next.
Spaceboy: I've received concerns about the amount of expertise in media analysis needed to be a member of this team. Could you address those concerns?
TJ229ER: What is Pandora Next?
Director Ben: Spaceboy, we will not give you anything we don't think you can handle. We have an in-house media analysis department that receives any and all files you are unable to manage.
mindmaster15: if this could be completed in house why go out side?
Director Ben: Resources. We have a limited number of on staff workers, and if we can spread the workload it eases their job. Also, we have three Media Analysis people in the department. That's three different ways of thinking. If we recruit help, we have n-number of different ways of thinking.
Seanlpuzzle: What is the origin of the voice.wav file that we have been working on understanding?
Director Ben: Divide and conquer you might say.
Spaceboy: Good strategy.
The_Architect: yes I agree
Karmic_Crimewave: Will be working with the in house help?
Director Ben: Seanlpuzzle, the voice.wav file is an intercepted communications between those that we seek to expose. I can say no more at this time.
Seanlpuzzle: thanks
The_Architect: hmmm will we be able to discuss what we have with other payers on different teams
Director Ben: Karmic, you will be working with them only if it becomes necessary. They prefer their identities to remain secure.
mindmaster15: is there any danger to there lives...
mindmaster15: or ours?
Director Ben: Absolutely. If you will notice at our communications HQ, there is a general forum where you may post requests, and converse in general. The Team rooms are for single team communications, and only members belonging to those teams may post there.
The_Architect: oh ok thanks
Director Ben: I won't tell you that there is no danger, else I would be lying. But you as field agents need worry the least.
Director Ben: The only ones at Pandora Next that have ever been harmed have been the Directors. Never has a field agent been harmed before.
Karmic_Crimewave: What kind of operation are we getting into that the field agents are the safest?
Director Ben: One where the field agents know the least, and knowledge is power.
Director Ben: So they fear you the least of all.
Seanlpuzzle: Your in-house media analysts must use various software programs for their work. Are there any tools that you would recommend we become familiar with?
Spaceboy: So, I'm correct in assuming that we will be in the dark about the true nature of our operations for most of the time.?
Director Ben: Seanlpuzzle, there is no recommended software. Whichever you prefer to use is fine, but I would recommend that the team as a whole choose software to work within.
Director Ben: Spaceboy, no. At first, you will possibly know very little about your assignments. But it is impossible for you to be of true service to us and remain ignorant.
Director Ben: The truth must get out.
Spaceboy: Ok
mindmaster15: why is the truth concealed?
Director Ben: It is not we that conceal it. Those that conceal it have the power to keep it secret.
Spaceboy: Is our ultimate goal to reveal the truth and bring it to light?
The_Architect: Will we be contacted not just by email but by phone or letters?
Director Ben: Spaceboy, your ultimate goal is to help us achieve that objective. So in essence, yes.
Director Ben: The_Architect, if you offered your phone number and/or address, then yes, you can expect to receive communications from us via any method.
SnareRushJunkie: I sent an e-mail to zeke a few days ago, giving him my phone number since I didn't give it to him on the original application. will I receive phone calls?
Director Ben: Assignments, however, will almost always be given through the Team Leader, who's job it is to distribute the information.
The_Architect: ok
Director Ben: SnareRushJunkie, make sure your Team Leader receives that information. Each Team Leader is responsible for keeping track of the Team's contact information. I will request an updated list from them every other week.
SnareRushJunkie: so I can have my number removed at a later date should I choose that I no longer wish to receive phone calls?
Director Ben: That is between you and the Team Leader
Mindmaster15: will we be in contact with others from you organization other then you...
Director Ben: Most certainly you will hear from Zeke. And I can imagine that you might hear from Derek or Alfred from time to time. Others prefer to remain anonymous at this time, but you will meet them all in due time.
The_Architect: will we be in contact with the enemy?
Director Ben: If I were you, I would pray not.
mindmaster15: should we be concerned about information we get or pass through them?
Director Ben: mindmaster15, through whom?
mindmaster15: others in your organization
Director Ben: Certainly not. All within Pandora Next are trustworthy.
Frzndaqiri: How long has your organization been working/existing?
Spaceboy: Are there any other responsibilities that I will need to carry out as team leader that I need to know about?
Director Ben: Your duties are as follows:
DirectorBen: 1)Distribute information given to you by any of the directors. This includes assignments
Director Ben: 2)Introduce new players to the team, and incorporate them into the current assignments or projects.
Director Ben: 3)Keep track of Team Member contact information, and supply it to either me or Zeke upon request.
Director Ben: That is all.
SnareRushJunkie: new players? I was under the impression that the group we had tonight was more or less our final group
SnareRushJunkie: maybe I misread something
Director Ben: No, this is the initial group. New team members may join at any time.
Seanlpuzzle: N+1 heads are better than N . Smile

Director Ben: SnareRushJunkie, operation is too broad of a term. Our goal has always been to reveal the truth to the public. We have suffered many losses, but we are approaching a position where we may safely reveal the truth.
Director Ben: Karmic_Crimewave, we have contracted outside help a number of times. Always when the need has been the greatest.
Director Ben: mindmaster15, no.
Karmic_Crimewave: And what happened to these outside agents that they can't be recontacted?
Director Ben: They retired of course.
The_Architect: the puzzles on the front page Pandora next was that used to hide zeke's email?
Frzndaqiri: A little worried Karmic? =)
Director Ben: That was used to gauge your ability to cope with situations that may or may not arise while working with us.
Karmic_Crimewave: Just cautious. Comes with age.
The_Architect: ok it kinda helped separate the sheep from the goats kinda?
Director Ben: Karmic_Crimewave, caution is good.
mindmaster15: should we expect more tests?
Director Ben: The_Architect, that serves as an apt analogy.

Director Ben: Karmic_Crimewave, I am unfortunately unable to answer that question at this time. All will be revealed soon. The Library will hold most of the answers you are looking for.

Director Ben: The Pandora Next Library. After your first Assignment is finished, you will be given partial access. Full access will be granted later.
