[SPEC] 27 and cube route...

Ah.......the pleasure of having a non-linear mind:
you say "27" and "cube route",
and I think that 3 is the cubed root of 27.
So?
Shall 3 be a key to something?

forgive me, im too lazy to log in-- THe rectangle with "PCPS"-> the top right hand corner, i blew it up, butchered it inverted is and spent 30 minutes playing with it then printed it out and burned it and i am 98% positive that there is NOT a wall there, although of course i could be wrong
from the image, or from the original card?
if the scan of the card didn't pick up a light wall, then it won't appear no matter how much you toy with it... that's why I'd love if someone could rescan, but at a darker setting, just so we don't miss anything if it's too light...

I didn't see anyone else mention it so forgive the trout if it has already been said.
perhaps the 'maze' is not really a maze at all. As Odin suggested it is percieveable that the letters 's e n' are incorperated into the maze. I personally don't see them, but it got me thinking of other forms of hidden text.
I believe it was the Freemasons who had a secret language that was based on letter squares. an example can be found
here
While this is not directly applicable to the maze format, perhaps some related sceme is.
Alternativly, as the maze is in a grid arrangement, perhaps reading the lines/space across or down will translate to binary (wild speculation)
I'm just wondering if the maze is in fact a message writen in a graphical manner. anyway, that's my two cents.

Thank god it wasn't just me. Personally I certainly never did.
It seems these postcards are simply part of the pre-game.
I don't think the maze is gonna lead us anywhere new though I do think it could be used later.
As for the 24 digit number I think it's part of something else. My brain is wrecked though I keep coming back to it.
Nice find on the 2210 mind

Yep, if you liked that one, you may want to try "Focault's Pendulum" by Umberto Eco...
On the semacode, just wanted to let you know that these are actually used as a substitution for stamps, I recieved a parcel with one on it, and there was no stamp (the other sort of stamp, just realized in english you use the same word for both), making it unlikely that the maze is thought to be a stamp.

Focault's Pendulum is a truly great book -- i wanted to make an arg based on that --- where a story sucks you into reality

thanks for the book, i think the 'maze' was hand drawn, look at the corners (lines overlap) and the lines (way to not stright for a stamp). but the 'PCPS' in the center looks like a stamp because of how it fades, now i also see that the entire thing is faded, it looks like the maze thing was drawn with a pen running out of ink, you know what i mean?
this is entirely too much thinking in the week before finals....

I'm just wondering...if the maze is hand drawn, then can we have someone verify that the maze thing appears/doesnt appear on all of the postcard, and see if there are any differences...or was the maze hand drawnt the first time, but then scanned and printed onto all of the cards.

thats most probable, ill ask around about all the postcards, see if the stamp is all the same.

The one on my card is the same as the one scanned in.
The whole card is printed in reality none of it is handwritten, however the text from Sente, the blacked out address and the maze are in a red/black ink and so look like they are meant to appear to be added afterwards to the 'blank' postcard
I can confirm that there is a line all the way around the PCPS it just gets faint in the top right corner thats all
The drawing of the maze in the first post in this thread is correct
(apart from one minor thing the short line 'floating' near the bottom left of the maze actually joins the bottom wall rather than having the gap there)

I can see that this has been pretty well talked about - and is probably pretty much over.
I was just wondering however, is it possible that it could almost be a representation of some type of map? (unlikely though)

It could be. We haven't decided if this is an unsolved puzzle, a clue to something later on, or just some meaningless decoration (pareidolia).
