[PRESS] ILB in Locus Magazine "An article on the involvement of Sean Stewart, Maureen F. McHugh, and other SF writers with the alternate reality game I Love Bees"
Looks like the article may be online soon.

I've never heard of this magazine before, but any press on this is better than no press.

Sounds interesting! I'll have to see if it's sold anywhere near where I live.

Locus is kinda the professional journal for SF and Fantasy writers... it doesn't have much circulation (it's damned hard to find outside a few libraries) and it's not meant to reach the average reader, but within the SF/Fantasy writing community it's very influential.
-- Steve's looking forward to reading the article when it comes online.

Locus may be carried by specialty magazine stores - like the Tower magazine section on the GW University campus near me, for whatever reason. Industry rag, about books in process, what's being published, reviews, author appearances, scifi publishing business news, etc etc. The quick book summaries for scifi books on Amazon can come from there. My Borders used to have a guy who would pull the quick reviews and put them in a notebook near the new releases rack to help people decide what to buy.

This may be bad form, but I'm bringing this thread back to ask if anybody's read the article yet. It hasn't been posted on the Locus site, and doesn't look like it will be soon.
Is it worth the trip to the library?
-- Steve's a curious guy. But he's also a bit lazy, especially around the holidays.

That's okay, Steve. I'm always lazy and always have bad form.

Re: [PRESS] ILB in Locus Magazine
Well, sort of:

(Italics mine.)
