I wonder whether they have any use for someone in New Zealand.

Well, I'm in the US, and I'm still signed up. I would suggest signing up even if you're not an Aussie. Maybe they'll see how much interest they've stirred up and expand it.

This probably makes me a wuss, but I asked to be removed. My gut feeling says there's something not quite right about this...
sigh!
Those of you who do go through with it, let us know what happens, ok?

The game, for the most part, takes place in Melbourne, Australia.

From The Age (an AUSTRALIAN newspaper):
Quote:
Thousands would have passed neurocam's billboard, displayed in November on Alexandra Parade, one of Melbourne's main commuter thoroughfares.
...
Those behind neurocam have gone to great lengths to conceal their identities. The Melbourne branch is said to have been begun by a New Zealander, but operates a website registered to an address in Beverly Hills, California.
Also, the emails I've received point to an "Asia-Pacific" division. Technically, part of the US counts as Pacific, but it wouldn't fall under Asia-Pacific necessarily.

Got the same email. Wonder what will happen the 3rd of January. Can't imagine they'll stop by in the Netherlands. Unless they have a division here as well that is.

It seems neither google nor Mapquest are aware of a street named Palladium Blvd in Beverly Hills or nearby locales. I think we can conclude this is a red herring.

an essay question?? I just received the first email, not the second one...but, what amounts to an illustrated essay exam? hopefully pure fiction will be acceptable so I can start writing mine as soon as I get the email.
wait, I get it, maybe syzygy otherwise known as Perplex City will launch then and this game is really tied in with that one?

Got the Stage 2 email too.
So I presume we wait and include the questionaire and the "mission" in the same email? *doesn't want to jump the gun*
EDIT: THIS blog has the most complete and interesting accout of Neurocam adventures. I just spent the last two hours reading this guy's entire 2004 archives. Felt like a hell of a long time, but a lot more things kinda make sense now.
