Alright I've been googling for like 3 hours and there appears to be an actually medical product called the neurocam.

I don't think the neurocam system is related. It's just a product named neurocam!

I got my second covert exercise today... It does get much more interesting!

I agree with QBKooky, I think that it is more or less a story or game in which you are one of the characters... But I don't know if I have any other operatives to interact with yet! It's early days though... I completed my mission earlier... i want more! Shocked

I suppose that means neurocam is similar to an ARG... except the reality is very much NOT alternate! It's this reality... in real time, if you will! I don't think they have yet denied being 'immersive fiction' as apposed to an ARG... Sorry, i'm just publicly brainstorming!

neurocam seem to mention the book 'the magus' alot. In that 'the age' article and also in someones assingment where they had to insert paper with neurocam on into page 404 of the magus, in 4 bookstores. I think its worth reading this book to find out more Wink

I'm looking in to buying a copy...

From bits and pieces I have gathered that a character in the book named Maurice Conchis wants to develop a new type of theatre in which the audience is part of the story...

Also, one characters in the book is named Dr. Maxwell (for a while)... It just made me think of Maxwell Knight straight away.

Edit: Check out this Conchis quote.
"All my life I had turned life into fiction, to hold reality away,"

Interesting, i hope.

I had the Magus assignment, and there were two different editions of the Magus that I saw. I was able to photocopy page 404 out of the one that seemed most authentic... I didn't seem all that relevant, although dealt, to some extent, with following people whose purpose you are unsure of. I'll try to find the copy and transcribe it.

How come you were allowed to release details about it? It seemed to me that missions became more and more secretive as you go along...?

Sounds like a cool mission though... I wonder if it's legal?

http://www.vca.unimelb.edu.au/admin/admin_links/projekt/artists/hely.html

Check it.

Neurocam gets metioned as mind control....

I guess that could be right couldn't it. I mean people are doing seemingly random tasks for strangers with out even thinking twice...

Now this link is jsut weird

Oh well... I decided to chime in and say hello. I did the Jan.31 assessment and passed. I am eagerly awaiting my first assignment. By the looks of things it seems that they recruit two times a month or at least two times in Jan. I am trying to understand the timeframe for assessmant and asignment. Some of you signed up in Jan. and have already done a asignment right? I know it depends on your location, age etc.

I am running out of things to read. I've read most of the operatives blogs.

I guess reading The Magus isnt a bad idea.

I don't know if that will work. All of your computers at work probably share the same IP address. And Neurocam is very clever about that stuff.

Does Neurocam have a problem for applying multiple times after you fail? Someone should email them.

Hey Kybalion I tried to log on to your forum but kept on getting an error saying that some code was incorrect.
