You say "potato", I say "starchy root tuber".

Hmm, come to think of it, that would be a cool name for a jazz musician: 'Hey you wild cats, I'm Starchy Roottuber, let me blow you some funky licks!"

Yup, "The Cam" is still going strong, just completed my second mission for them.
The reason people aren't posting a lot about it anymore is becase The Cam themselves set a rule that pretty much forbids us from revealing details of our missions. As opposed to the group/community mentality of regular ARGs, Neurocam is focussed more on the individuals experience, it's meant to be something personal, almost intimate, something you do alone.
That's my interpretation so far, anyhoo!

You should be getting missions roughly once a month. Mine were received 30/1 and 21/02 so far, so my next one should arrive in about 7-10 days give or take.
If it's been longer than that, it probably wouldn't hurt to drop The Cam a short missive letting them know you're ready, willing and chomping at the bit to get out there in the field!

Hiya. Been reading Unfiction since ILB sucked me into ARGs. First time poster.
So, have we yet determined if Neurocam is safe?
I've always wanted to join a real world Project Mayhem-ish organization, but I don't know if I'm getting into some occult crap here or what.
My guess is that this is an elaborate art project, but I want to be as sure as possible.

Believe me, I was just as dubious and sceptical as you are (maybe even more so) when I first started. But all my experiences so far have reassured me that The Cam is safe. They even grant extensions to assignments if you are sick/uwell and unable to complete them on time, so they do seem to care in some way about their operatives.
Come join us. If it isn't your cup of tea, you can leave with no obligations.

I already applied, now I'm just waiting for the questionaire. How long did it take you guys to get the questionaire after your "application confirmed" e-mail?
Can hardly wait.

As PaleFigure said, we're restricted in telling other operatives or people about our experiences so far. But from us Melbournites, we're getting assignments on a regular basis and any reasoning for a slight lack in response from them would mean they're university students Wink classes started again this month.
