I used "the wayback" machine to fidn there application email address and sent one in. this is the response i got:

"Neurocam International is no longer accepting online applications,
as part of a transitional phase into its Phase Three operations. This
may change at a future date, however there are no plans to do so at
this time. Please check our official website (http://www.neurocam.com)
periodicly for new information. Applications through direct contact
with a Neurocam Operative is still possible. Unfortunatly, due to
Operational Security Guidelins, I am unable to disclose the name, or
physical location of any of the operatives in your area."

to which i replied:

"It seems as though your main site is down, displaying only a broken image link. that's why I contacted you in this fashion, using what I thought was an outdated email address found by searching the wayback machine archives. Sorry to be a pest, but this all seems rather odd... as far as something can seem odd in relation to an organization such as yours."

I just sent it, with no reply as of yet...

I can confirm that. The last standard operations were issued in November, since then only a few people in charge of certain projects have had any contact with Neurocam.

There is a new video on the website, but no more information. 3 months have been a long time and it is getting rather dull waiting, but I suspect it is a test of some sort. There are rumours that a few high-up management members have gone missing, but nothing can be verified, as always with our mysterious employers.

I emailed my regional director about a month back, but got no reply. The last time this happened "special operations" were being undertaken and a communication blackout was in place, late last year. No bounced emails, just no reply.

However, I hadn't personally heard anything about recruitment through existing operatives. I mean, I guessed it was in the pipelines because of the nature of some of our assignments, but nothing had been confirmed. I'll fire off a few emails tonight and see if I can rouse someone at HQ.

I'm amazed that Neurocam is still breathing. After several steps of registration, I lost interest however, adn I was never granted operative status, though this was years ago.

I got a similar email from them when I asked if there was any new info about new memberships. Does anyone know how I can come in contact with them directly to become a member? Or should I just email them again and ask them? Or no one has no idea?

Well, they aren't answering my emails currently, so your guess is as good as mine. I'm not sure about this whole "finding an operative to become a member" business myself. I've been told nothing on that front, though its entirely possible I am too low ranking to be entrusted with such tasks. And if they are doing that, I'm not too happy about having to deal with and screen random people. I rather do Neurocam related business with the public on my terms, not someone elses. Especially given the lack of mental stability some of the people who gravitate to Neurocam exhibit.

Yeah I can understand that. If I was in your position I probably wouldn't be too thrilled on playing the part of messenger boy for a couple of people who want join that I don't even know and without having any idea as to why they want to join in the first place.

And yes, it's true. Almost anywhere you go you can always find at least one person who thinks they know exactly what they're talking about when they really have no idea and they're really not looking too smart. Er...no offense to anyone here.

Yep. Of course, with the secrecy of Neurocam, you'd be very naive not to suspect everyone, including me. Anyway, moving on...

One of the more interesting Neurocam bloggers is reporting some sort of computer mishap involving Neurocam files that has got him worried, while another I don't know much of (but has certainly been around for a while) claims to have met the head of Human Resources and Security during the current information blackout. Of course, lots of people have claimed total bullshit stories before, but in this case I don't know one way or the other. It seems everyone's handlers have retreated into the shadows and no-one beyond management has a clue whats happening. Of course, that could be the point, while phase 3 is being set into motion.

So, business as usual for the past few months.

Of course. The secrecy of neurocam is probably the reason why my interest in them is so high. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if I were to recieve an email from them saying "You will no longer be considered for becoming a member of neurocam as you were discovered speaking of it on unfiction forums." Creepy. But interesting nonetheless. Still, I couldn't resist asking about it to see if I could dig up some new information regarding memberships.

And yeah, I've read lots of bloggers who have stated things or have recieved information about neurocam that ended up being completely untrue, so I'm not buying any information from anyone unless they state it's from the main management themselves (and even then I'm quite skeptical). All I can really do is keep my fingers crossed and hope that new membership applications will be posted soon. Or get lucky enough to find out how to directly come in contact with them.

New video on the Neurocam site, can only have been put up in the last couple of days. Lots of rumours floating around too, mostly starting a couple of weeks back, so I feel something is going to happen pretty soon. Maybe applications being opened again, communications blackout being lifted....something is definitely in the works.

Neurocam is nothing but letting people know that they are in control of their lives. You control your reality, start acting like it.

If you're really interested in knowing, you should try doing some research at http://blogsearch.google.com or registering at http://www.neuroboards.com

Edit: Scratch that about joining the boards, the creator has made it so no new people can register at this time. It's still something worth checking in the future though if you're interested enough.

...

Nothing seems to be happening with the neurocam but I did notice that in the last 2 weeks there's been a change to the yellow 1 site. The first time I saw that there was just a logo image on it. Last week it had changed to a black page and the neutonier logo. Now it's been updated and it looks like they've set up a recruitment. From what I can gather, this is related to neurocam. Something seems to be getting in gear - if anyone is following this anymore.
