Not sure if this is IG or OG but it just came across a list that I'm a member of: http://capcoincidence.blogspot.com/2004_12_01_capcoincidence_archive.html#110346082708588537

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Subject: Illuminatus, 23 and Neurocam
Date: Sunday December 19, 2004.

Graham,

I recently became aware of Neurocam, and reading your blog entry on the train station locker, it's obvious that whoever is giving you your assignments is a fan of the Illuminatus! Trilogy. Given the mindset of Neurocam and the obsessive if absurd numerology in the book, I guarantee you it is not a coincidence that the briefcase was in locker #23.

If you haven't read the book, I highly recommend it. At the very least it will help get you into the right mindset.

The Illuminatus? Could it be that Neurocam is just part of the oldest conspiracy of all?

With Jan 3 coming up soon (w00t), a question has arisen to me.

The assignment mail says to write an essay on occurances between 4PM and 9PM, but also states, "Include in your account two images that
represent the best and worst things that happen on Monday 3, 2005.
." Does this mean for the entire day, or just the 4-9 window?

I signed up a while ago for this whole neurocam thing. But now I'm a little bit uncertain.

I'm holding out hope that I can join in properly a bit later once I'm sure what this thing is and that there's nothing sinister about it.

well, some people said i shouldn't post on the boards, but i will. After searching the sites and related links i think its safe to say Robert Henley is dead. We know this is by Neurocam. This is my questionable theory.....There are many others in Neurocam, one being Robert Henley. They went into the system, and found out Neurocam's real secret, What they do to employees who don't participate. Now Robert and many others tried to tell the athourities, but to no avail. Neurocam found out, and now hes dead. I do expect soemone else to die soon. Now if you want links to the sites i'm talking about search Neurocam on google.

Huh? Robert Henley is not dead, he's a fictional character created by New Zealand multimedia artist Robin Hely during his residency at Victoria College of the Arts. Link and link.

Moreover, Neurocam appears not to be a traditional or even intentional ARG so much as an artistic, social experiment. For those who are interested in the debate, more of my thoughts here: http://glimmer.typepad.com/fwiw/. I'm interested to hear what others who have done some research think.

On looking at the details they ask you (currently) to supply there seems no way for them to find me - so I'll go along with it.
Because today is the 3rd my date to write things down for is the 17th.
I guess this kind of messes up any thoughts of a huge event though... or maybe there'll be two. Hm.

ANALYSIS OF "Document 4 - Robert Henley to Fiat Nox.&qu

URL to Image: http://img31.photobucket.com/albums/v93/capcoincidence/Neurocam/document4.jpg
URL to Description: http://capcoincidence.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_capcoincidence_archive.html (Look for the July 12th 2004 entry)

===============================================

"FIAT NOX" is latin, which roughly translates to "Let There Be Night".
Associated with chaos magic.

"Salutation on All Points of The Triangle" - A phrase associated with the "Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO)". The O.T.O. is an Outer Thelemic Order which is dedicated to the high purpose of securing the Liberty of the Individual and his or her advancement in Light, Wisdom, Understanding, Knowledge, and Power through Beauty, Courage, and Wit, on the Foundation of Universal Brotherhood. The Themelic tradition originated from Aleister Crowley.
http://oto-usa.org/

"Star Ruby" - a magical ritual originally called "Banishing Ritual of the
Pentagram", it was modified by Aleister Crowley in his book "Magick in Theory and Practice". The Star Ruby is a basic Thelemic banishing ritual. It is used appropriately anywhere a banishing ritual is required in the preparation of a space--personal or for a circle or temple--where a specific Thelemic emphasis or setting is desired.
http://lionserpent.com/xxvanalysis.html

"The Middle Pillar" - Another ritual of the Thelemic tradition. It's meant to
balance the Elements of a person.
http://thelemicgoldendawn.tripod.com/neophyte/mp2.html

"Mass of the Phoenix" - An Aleister Crowley ritual assocated with members of Crowley's Order of Thelemites. The Mass of the Phoenix is a simple exoteric form of the Eucharist for daily use of the Magician. The Eucharist is "communion" or the act of receiving the Sacrament.
http://thelemicgoldendawn.tripod.com/phoenix.htm

"...of which the Master speaks" - In 1912 Aleister Crowley was named Grand Master of the OTO.

---------------

"The SAPPHIRE unit has demonstrated a particular vulnerability to Fabry crises and is being returned to Eng. for Alpha Galactosidase sluicing. I recommend caution in the mobilization of this unit."
-- Document 4 - Robert Henley to Fiat Nox. (Posted July 12th 2004)

FABRY DISEASE OVERVIEW
http://www.fabrycommunity.com/patient/about/fc_p_pt_fabry-disease.asp

Quoting from the article:

"Fabry disease is a rare hereditary disorder caused by a faulty gene in the body."

The periods of intense, burning pain caused by the disease is called a Fabry crisis.

"When people inherit the abnormal gene that causes Fabry disease, their bodies cannot produce enough of an important enzyme called alpha-galactosidase A (pronounced al-fa-ga-lak-toe-si-daze a) or alpha-GAL. Alpha-GAL is needed to clear certain cells in the body of a fatty substance called globotriaosylceramide (pronounced glow-bow-tri-oh-syl-ser-a-mide) or GL-3."

---------------

THE STAR SYMBOL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE

The star symbol is the Star of David. If it was enclosed in a circle it would
be called the Seal of Solomon, a warding or protective symbol. I can't make out what's in the center of the symbol based on what's on your blog, so that's all I can say about it.

I'm sorry -- given the location of this thread in "News and Rumors" I thought we were still trying to determine the nature of this project, not actively "playing" with our eyes squinched shut.

I see that's not the case, so I'll pursue my inquries into the nature of NC on my own.

Cheers.
