Crap. I don't remember this kind of stuff in Geometry.

Tried applying the UDLR string to it, I can't see anything significant but then again I just woke up.

Woah.. I just noticed that string has no Ul or Dl. Just Dr and Ur.

Observations about "13" puzzle: There is never more than one actual number in any given column, it's always a number and then "X" everywhere else. So... I don't know what that means. I've tried repeating the numbers at their respective "X"s around, but it didn't offer any clarity at all. Confused

I don't think the grid of numbers is a substitution cipher. At least not a simple one. It's a 12x12 grid, meaning 144 numbers. However, it uses 57 numbers total. I think any reasonable simple-cipher would have 30-ish at most. Here's the breakdown:

57 numbers used 144 times.
Used every number 02-58 at least once.
09 x6.
21, 22, 34, 36 x5.
12, 14, 15, 30, 52 x4.
04, 06, 08, 10, 16, 18, 24, 26, 27, 28, 32, 33, 38, 39, 40, 42, 44, 45, 48, 49, 50 x3.
20, 25, 35, 46, 51, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58 x2.
Everything else x1.

Something tells me I'm way off. *sighs*
