Horoscope I've been searching all over this forum and didn't find it. (so if there was something about this in this forum, sorry, sorry, sorry!)
Has anyone read the horoscope in the Hornchurch Star?
I think by reading the horoscope the game will be at an end in March/April 2005.
The horoscope begins in April, so did Jon's cache (april 2004). Read all the entries. and than the cache.
For this moment:
Capricorn: Dec 22 - Jan 19
The worth of a thing is what it will bring. It's nearly time to discover exactly what your true value is.
We are all trying to get our value at S&S.
The next signs are:
Aquarius: Jan 20 - Feb 18
The stars can teach you many things. For example, Ophis is Greek for snake.
Pisces: Feb 19 - Mar 20
Fate sees you reading the works of Johann Von Goethe.
Aries: March 21 - April 20
A mystery man will soon enter your life. He will bring you your hearts desire. At a price.
Looks like we have to wait until march/april to meet our mystery man, The man in Black

DAMN! I wish I would've been so clever to look at the horoscope...
Imagine that: checking all websites that are even vaguely connected to this, cross-referencing all information found on those afore-mentioned sites and all it takes is someone to look at the horoscopes and explaining to us that everything will be revealed in April/May
We bow down to your superior knowledge!

The classic Lockjaw method of giving a preview of what to come... How did we all miss it?

Yeah, but fair's fair, no-one had pointed out explicitly that the horoscope, if followed, plotted out the game progression. I think that counts as a new clue- certainly it hadn't occured to me!

Simonjp has a point. I´ve seen all kinds of weird theories around, but when Jopra comes with a plausible one, all he gets is scorn. For me, I´m glad to know updates will be popping every 21st or so - this way I can "get the most of my life" and stop racking my brain daily.

sorry Sorry Rowan,
I think you misunderstood me. I know there were a lot of entries about the horoscope and I've read them all, also those you mentionted. What I meant was that, all we do, or have to do, and when to do, is in the horoscope.

Has anybody taken a closer look at the webcampictures on H*? The picture of day 4 doesn't seem to be the same crossroads as in the other pictures. The tree/bushes are missing and there is something that looks like a building.

Dimension - Protocol and Stuff Has somebody ever tried to access hornchurchstar via https?
I did it because:
1. The error-Msg is kind of strange http://www.hornchurchstar.com/errorPage.php
Quote:
(...) Adjust your browser to the relevant dimension (...)
2. "Protocol" on Den's cap:
The https-Access worked and I got to the standard Debian-Welcome-Screen. It's possible to access some directories (/icons) but I didn't find any other dirs or files of "special interest". I'm not really used to explore something like this. Perhaps this is of interest.
I also tried to access the thing via ftp (protocol! ), but it didn't work.

Had a look at this, and am concerned, if this exceeds the boundaries of what we are expected to do, for using the https-link, you'll see, that you are directed to the https-server at https://interbrew.positive-internet.com/ seems to be a service of the provider to install an ssl-server.
Seems as there was qmail installed once, but was deleted except for the images. Besides this I found nothing of any worth so far.

That is very interesting...
There are a lot of pages that lead to errorPage.php, im not surprised that they may have put clues in that page.... I tried resizing my browser to make a message show up vertically but had no luck... anyone else want to look into this?

What about ftp? There exists a ftp-server named "cerberus" (and many security programs of course) - and until now we found some of the 6 signs as websites:
ophidia -> sableshuck (formerly known as Ophis Inc.)
trident -> tridentair
corvus corax -> pathwaytravel
flame and fire -> infernocargo
lepidoptera -> could be hornchurchstar ??? absolutely not sure about
canidea -> ??? where the hell is he ??? cerberus? another dimension? ftp - as another dimension or the underworld of the internet?
