[Humor-ish] How we can speed along the start..... So, I noticed today that Adrian has added his name to the attendees list for ARGFest-O-Con IV .
I believe this will give us all an excellent oppurtunity to beat him senseless when yet another July passes without the game starting!
Or, should the unexpected happen, and the game starts soon, the game will be over by then. Which means, of course, that should it resemble a vacumn cleaner, we can beat him senseless!
(Personally, I'm going in with the mindset of buying a round or two in appreciation, but preparing for the worst)
(Sweet, got through this without using any emoticons )

We could speed along the start by reciting this rhyme:
Adrain Hon
Was sat on a bomb
'Cause unfiction had nothing to play
Syzygy, not starting
Had caused his departing:
They blew the poor bastard away
Melodramatic, but it got the point accross.

Any thing that rhymes with syzygy is alright by me, heck I only just mastered its spelling!

Wouldn't work. See-Zee-Gee does not rhyme with Whizz-ard-ree.

Technically, it's a half-rhyme.

Well, the pronunciation of syzygy works a little better for the rhyme than that.
It's more like Siz- (with an I as in "pit", -uh- (as in the I in "edible" or the U in "circus") and gee (as in, well, "gee", with a soft g)
Siz-uh-gee rhymes fairly well with whiz-erd-ree!

then it depends how much you're trying to rhyme... because technically rhymes with wizardry and syzygy and emotionally and marginally and disappointingly and really most any multi-syllable adverb

Haha, but I think that wizardry works better because both the first and third syllables rhyme.

Yeah, that link doesn't work, and it never will. You get that page no matter what your results are, and it's generated with information from your browser on your computer. Here's what anyone clicking it will see:

Most of you are probably too young to remember the old Sodastream ads on TV in the late 70s and 80s. Err, I think my old aunt told me about them. Anyway "with the fizzy" works quite well from a rhyming point of view, however it stinks if you try to make sense of it.
Morning, btw
