Yah, you'd think so, huh? But my friends request to her on Live has gone unanswered and unaccepted now for months and I can't get onto IRC here at work (and never have time to at home) so I never find her there. She's responded to a few of the PMs I've sent her her I guess.

I figure maybe I could bombard them all with emails until somebody responded, but I got tired of that during the ILB game when all of my emails (to ANY in-game character) after becoming "crew" went unanswered while those of certain members of my "Boise squad" *cough*Lt Mad Cow*cough* and others were answered immediately and repeatedly.

yes, but that was all in game! you're not emailing 'the operator' and hoping to hit the right combination of keywords that will set their little PM minds a reeling, you're just emailing Kristen, who as-you-know is a warm charming (beautifull) young woman who WILL respond to your mail

she hasn't been on Live in forever and a day though, other methods of contact seem to be unreliable

yes, she's a little slow with the email responses, but she always responds, and you always get a sizable reply, not just a "hey cool, lol c-ya!", i always know it will be a good day when i open my inbox to see new mail from kRiStEnRuThErFoRd

True, like I said, I was just somewhat dissapointed in the "taking care of [this] crewmember" by Melissa when I was struggling to decide whether to even keep playing. BTW, again, my thanks goes out to people HERE for helping me make the decision to stay in.

Well, we'll see. Hasn't worked (for me) in the past, but I'm willing to try again. Nice to know that maybe my messages were just missed or something since the general reports seem to be that she does respond. Wish me luck, eh?

Well, why the heck aren't you TALKING to them, then? I'm sure Durga would love to hear from you!

So I just continue to enjoy their presence vicariously through Phaedra and ThaJinx and others ...

Yah, yah, I know .. poor poor weephun, right? Well, maybe just a little disillusioned weephun for the time being. I'm sure I'll get over it. In the meantime I can be jealous.

Well, EMAIL her already!

I don't think she's been on Live yet this year, and she doesn't actually go into chat that often, and she doesn't come on the forum that often, but she does check her email!

This is not at all accurate. I have it on very good authority that Kristen is, in fact, quite mean.

Me, too.

Intimidated, I mean.

Actually, I was intimidated before all of this.

I gotta go.

OK, faith restored. This is one of those times I'm very happy to be proven wrong. Just got a great response back. Warm fuzzies all around. Very Happy

Does it help if you sing it with Gilbert & Sullivan operetta flair?

An insecure English muffin, HEEEEEEEEEEE!
