Also found this:

http://www.pjfarmer.com/secret/contributors/Children-of-the-Night1.htm

It notes the birth of Jessica van Helsing in 1956

This site is also very nice if you are interested in the link between this game & Dracula / Harker stuff.

(for the Google - In cache check this: http://66.102.9.104/search?q=cache:KdWlrUN6u84J:www.pjfarmer.com/secret/contributors/Children-of-the-Night1.htm+Jessica+van+helsing+jeff+harker+jon&hl=nl It is a huge site so might be usefull)

Hi I'm new here but have followed this forum for months. I can be wrong, but when you look closely to the back of the photo could it be that there's some kind of blurred words above the memory text???
Trout me if this is said before..
Hoping to help you all with the game.

Edu

The words are "Paper Manufactured Kodak". Mentioned before indeed and probably not usefull, just an ordinairy back of a picture.

It seems some clues depend on mistakes, ommissions etc.
Could it be the letters missing that build the anagram?

(no find this on search)....

By the way. I read it differently to the first post:

saturday mornings at the cinema. xmas with mum + dad. sports day. spectrum 48k. mr rickso(n). overcooked cabbage. scho(ol) dinners. loved jessica, summer + arsenal. hated eilean mor + veg. space inv(aders). choopers.evil knievel.

Brackets give NOLADERS

Choopers (1970/71), Space Invaders (1978) and Evil Knievel were around and cool in the 1970's. Spectrum 48k (1982). Is the date/era something to think about? Something to do with Jon's childhood....

47 cents worth.

jon is 32 or 34...dont remember that very well....that would indeed place all the stuff in his childhood........

but what to do with it? i really dont know!

why did he attend cinema on saturdaymornings? i would go in the evenings....but i guess that aint a clue...altho it might refer to stellascreen. gonna check if there are movies from around the seventies/eighties

Going to the movies on a saturday morning is kind of a "kids" thing to do in the UK. Not so much now (although most cinemas usually show a couple of kids movies on saturday mornings) but definitely back in that era.

aaah ok, that explains it well enough for me....weird brits....going to the movie on the first day in the week that you can stay in bed........weird

but, what i found most not nice on the writing of the photo, is that the handwriting is completely different then the writing on the businesscards......

so, my question is, because we first assumed the writing on the businesscards to be jon's....whose is this then? because with the writing"o"knowledge, we discovered several writing in the pathwaytravelflashbooks........long time ago....dont remember where we discussed it in the forums, but we did....

and now, we assume that this other is jons writing too! well, that could be good ofcourse, and i know we look on the right trail, but it really bugs me......

there is too much explanations possible (one being obvious: jon created the hidingroom himself, thus he created the different writings as well...could he have created more writings?????)

Did some anagramming on the NOLADERS

Could be a:
Norse Lad
Learn DOS
One's Lard...
Red Salon
Old Snare

Or maybe Jon's just a SAD LONER, ALSO NERD

oh god. it just hit me. the writing on the photo can now be used to match the guestbook entries on pathway travels. We can see exactly what messages he left us.
