weekend update to my previous update:

4 tokens have been found and redeemed for their respective prizes.

4 more tokens have been reported as missing from their locations and presumed to have been found but not yet redeemed.

Of the remaining 4 (of the original 12), two have proposed solutions but have not turned up a token, and the last two are proving quite difficult to solve.

There is also a confirmed 13th hidden puzzle for a crystal prize, not yet claimed.

According to http://tweleve.org, all 13 tokens have now been found. Officially, the author has only confirmed 10, but he states that there are delays while the token is vetted, press releases are prepared, etc. between the time a token is redeemed and when they officially confirm it.

yep. The solutions are available on www.tweleve.org (not a typo) -- the threads will soon be archived and locked but made available for public viewing; until then, you may need to register and login to access those threads.

Coming soon, a loose sequel by the author, with a world-wide treasure hunt and many more tokens to find, entitled Secrets of the Alchemist Dar

Note: that homepage is ugly! -- go directly to these forums instead.

[UPDATE] A Treasure's Trove

It was announced yesterday that a 14th token was added to the hunt, Rustful. The announcement was accompanied by a new non-book clue, as well as an addendum to the rules.

According to the links above, the Rustful token can be redeemed for a black diamond with a value of more than $10k. The author announced clues from the book, coupled with the non-book clues, which the first of at least two was released yesterday, will be need to solve the tokens location.
