[SNEAK PEEK?] 4orty2wo's next game?

Just for fun:

Okay, this probably isn't an actual clue, but Kristen Rutherford may have given us a sneak peek at some swag for 4orty2wo's (Ilovebees, the Beast) next game on her LiveJournal (in the Traveling Pictures Show).

If you read the Buzzmakers article, you may remember a paragraph near the end that read:

"What's next, then, for these Emeryville game designers? Well, they
can't tell you the details, because then they'd have to kill you. But
they're still doing stuff for Microsoft. The company also is designing
its own clothing line with a built-in game. You heard right. But that
mystery won't be fully revealed until the fashions hit the streets
this summer."

Well, Kristen's LiveJournal has included four curious pictures:

Could this be the "clothing line" mentioned in the article?

When asked directly, Kristen responded: Wink

Very Happy

Let's hope the ARG doesn't revolve around the 'Amazing Adventures of Lucy and Tom as they travel the globe, searching for clues as to who stole their lunches!'

It turns out to be the school bully, and the little tykes win a battle of wit and morals. Everybody learns a lesson, including nasty bully 'Butch'.

No.

Dibs on a blue shirt, or green if one comes out. I will leave the pink shirts to Jinxie.

Um, no, those are just Kristen's TPS dolls -- they're in every TPS shot, regardless of the subject matter.

Pfft. The point still stands.

Interesting..

I find it more interesting that 42 might actually still be employing Kristen.

This can mean 1 of 2 things:
Something of an ILB2? or a related game/entertainment media (42 was granted intellectual ownership, I believe/but may be wrong, from microsith)

Or they were pleased with her and want to re-employ her for another project.

I'm happy with either reality and will watch this like a hawk... with a video camera, binoculars and gps locators... and mabey some infared... yeah can't go wrong with infared. Very Happy

No, not ILB related, as far as I know. She mentioned she was *writing* for it.

She used to write for Pop-Up Video, so she does a lot more than just voice acting.

Now this... sounds interesting. Clothing line? I am most interested in how this'll work. I just hope it's not PPC Puzzlecards style, where we have to answer the riddles on the shirts. =P

I can't help but think of some sort of flash mob-type exercise. Color-coded shirts? Coupled with making a (relative) fool of one's self in public? Makes me think of something Jane would crock up, really. ;-P

I wouldn't call it sadistic... although as previous events have shown, if there's anyone who's willing to whore this stuff in public, it's me. Confused

Tell me you wouldn't want to show off this summer's cutting-edge fashions!

Heh. Heh, I say!

They made people SING in PUBLIC.

Well, um, it looks like it's t-shirts.

And all I can say is that there better be some babydolls or tanks in those piles, because I would hate for my awesome new 4orty2wo duds to be something I'm only willing to wear while I garden.

I always was pissed we never got a call that week. Also, check my LiveJournal phone post archives ;-P This is not one of my phobias. Public nudity, maybe, but that's kind of intrinsically ruled out here.

There's always the worst-case scenario. But with Kristen Rutherford on the job, how can anyone end up looking less than their best? I'm sure there'll be a super-classy Phaedra Special Edition™ strappy tank along the lines of her previous creations, with a big "4" on one side and a big "2" on the other.

(On the other hand, the G3K Special Edition™ will be so garish and offensive, it will actually make noise.)

Hey, I'll do it for the love of the game.

Hear that 42? I'm willing to go out in public free as god made me for the game...
BRING IT ON, there's nothing you can throw at us, that *All* of us WON'T do.
