Something odd with the sisters plea...

I could be wrong of course, But I registered only because this had been bothering me for a while and wanted to see what others thought...

It Bridgit's (sp?) plea, she describes Jon as being 5"11 and weighing close to 14 Stone

Now, in England they use a different system, so that explains the stones...but wouldn't Jon be something other then "5 foot 11"?

Like, I said, I could be wrong...but any thoughts?

Stones and feet/inches are both part of imperial measurements, still often used in england to describe weight/height, so it probably makes more sense for her to be using stones and feet/inches when describing him.

if she were to be using metric measurements instead of imperial she would describe him in kilograms and metres/centimetres.

Jon's BMI (Body mass index)
it's easy....

height in metres divided by weight in kilos squared.

= 27.3

Just bored Wink

Tragic Accident?

Especially when you read about her. She's Jon's sole surviving family member, because of their parents' "tragic accident". Coinidence, huh? Also, notice the way she looks around when she says certain things. Another observation, she's in a black suit? I dunno if I'm just being overly paranoid, but something is not right about her.
I did some research on her and nothing really came up. I also tried to look up something about an accident in the UK with the Harkers, and got nothing. But, when I looked up the meaning for the name 'Brigid', it's a saint's name and also a Goddess's name...I dunno if that means anything either. Just observing stuff I guess. I've gotten as far as I think I can get...past everything but that locked door and I haven't been assessed yet by S&S.
Here's another theory I've got though: Brigid is in on it with S&S. She says that Marlowe is a friend of hers, and S&S advertise www.helpmefindjon.com wanting you to help Brigid. I think she is in on this. I think that when you find Jon, u have to either give him in to Brigid and S&S and get the money and lose your soul therefore "win" the game in her eyes, or you find Jon, and don't tell b/c you don't wanna turn him in, and basically "lose" the game. Do you guys get it? I dunno if I'm making sence, lol. Rolling Eyes

It's been observed before. She also does not appear on the family photo in the hiding room website, and jon does not mention a sister in the cache.
I'm still puzzled by what looks like vampire marks on her neck though!

An account for Brigid?

I couldn't find this in any previous posts, so forgive me if I'm standing on the coattails of another. Has anyone thought to crack a log in, on the S&S website, for Brigid Harker (or Brigid x, whomever she may be).

Interesting discovery

I was yahooing Brigit's name to see what I could find and I found this site:

http://www.elfhill.com/leighann/writings/brigid.html

It's quite interesting. Here's some quotes from it:

"Brigid also had a magical apple orchard, according to a Gaelic folk song which may preserve some of Brigid's original myth" - this could be related to all the apple references, in the hiding room aswell as in the crossword.

"Brigid is a shamanic trickster and shape-shifter as well"

Am I just being paranoid? What do you guys think?

A thread specifically for Brigid?

First, I was wondering (since I'm not computer-savvy, and I'm sure everyone here can complete this better) if anyone would like to start up a thread specifically for Brigid (feel free to trout if this, or the following, is lame).

Second, I'll offer my thoughts, on Brigid, just for fun. If Brigid was, in fact, bitten (the two marks on the neck) then does this happen to all people taken under the MIB? If not, why just her? If she was taken under, then would she have an account? What if she tried to sign up for S&S, but her soul wasn't worth enough; thus, the MIB took her under in order to give Brigid what she wants in return for useful service: helping to find Jon. Does any of this make sense, or better yet, prove useful? The password to her possibly existant S&S account may be on one of the objects she's sold, or possibly something Jon has accounted of her.
