Very nice aznxasazn. I'm glad my $20 wasn't wasted. Very Happy I did the Si Stebbins ordering, but I didn't work the deck to get the club and jokers on top, so I counldn't decrypt the text.

Sin and I were trying to figure out how we were suppose to get the Stebbins stack from the face 1 clue. I never would have gotten the Stebbins deck ordering without the clue I purchased.

Now on to face 3, which the clue I got for that is in the first post in this thread.

Yeah, I have no idea how you would solve it without such a clue unless it was random dumb luck. If you got a listing of common starting decks and went from there you'd get it, but otherwise I can't find any hints on face 1 that would suggest to use it.

Unfortunately I don't know much about music to solve side 3. All I know is that your clue seems to mean what was stated earlier and the info from side 2..which may help.

The only thing I can think of is that face 3 has to either do with the Queen's song or it has to do with some dirge. I have no leads as to how to extract numbers for face 4.

Well no wonder they're giving away a cash prize. There's no way to solve it without paying them.

I think you (PotVsKtl) should read this post:

From the Virtuquest.com website:

While the virtucube can be solved without any additional clues, we do have a set of unique clues that will be given away (in random order) with any Virtuquest T-shirt purchase.

I think this is just a very difficult puzzle, hence the prize money.. Razz

I'm at work, so I don't have the shirt in front of me, but from memory: on the front; in the upper left is VQ. On the back; There is a triangle with some text (i think) around the outside that says something, and then inside the triangle is more text that confused the shit out of my parents, but i understood completely. I'll try to dig it out when I get home. When I ordered it I figured I would never wear the shirt, but it's a cool shirt and one of my new favorites.

Hey all...yesterday I got the clue that I ordered.

http://virtuquest.com/stacy26b/clue19.html

As you can see, it's for side 3. Anyway, I've already solved the word find...I'll spoiler the urls just in case anyone wants to do it on their own.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Word find completed:

Dunno if it means anything, but two clues are out of alphabetical order (SOLVE and AZNXASAZN), and one that was there when I printed out my clue yesterday isn't there now (LAFCADIO, which isn't in the grid anyway and was driving me absolutely NUTS!!). But anyway, I take it as proof positive that we're on the right track. Very Happy

What's with the funky color-coding on the solve?

Any ideas what this clue for face 4 means? I know it's from Dr. Seuss and I think it means "666". I'm still not sure what it really means. Of course, 666 is 999 upside down, if that's any help.

It could be telling us that we need to solve side six first.
I think that side four is the end and after solving side six we open side five and after that we have the answer to side four.

Also for the colour code on the clue, I think the colours are to correspond with the colour of the side he thinks the word goes with like the forest one is in green as it goes with side two (green).

I think this website is being watched by Virtuquest, how else could they use aznxasazn without having been on it. Also it could be this guy at the bottom of the page:
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7747

Also if you look at the list of words in the wordsearch, most of them can be found on this website, i.e Puppet Masters, Varin, konamouse etc. The words Great solve aznxasazn points to this aswell.

This may not have anything to do with Virtucube but this could be true.

I can't figure out a relevance to the puzzle yet, but here's what it comes from: Dr. Seuss' ABC.
