Solved: /revealtheobscured.jpg

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

I looked at the Linkin Park cover and noticed "theory" from Hybrid Theory was missing.

I googled the goo goo dolls DVD "Live in Buffalo" and found that 2004 was missing.

I had no idea what the other cover was, so I just googled the key words "Train of Thought". The word "dream" from that cover was missing.

Throw that all together and you get: dreamtheory2004

And so: http://hometown.aol.com/dreamtheory2004/

We have a new website!

Wow - great work, Crisko!!

In black text from the bottom of the new website:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Those of us who are fortunate enough to make contact with the other side are always seeking out individuals who share our gifts. Do not take your abilities for granted or ignore them as imagination -- you are a very special individual, whom in years past would be worshiped and revered. Fear not the gift you share, for it is a special and wonderful talent that can be enhanced with time and practice. It is not our way to force others into our fold, but should you desire our help contact us with your experiences. We will guide you on the proper path. Gods Bless You!

I'm emailing Josh and suggesting that he contact them with his dreams and ask them what they think.

oh man, I highlighted that but I didn't think it was text. Way to catch that.

I emailed the contact email. This is what they wrote back:

Quote:
SilentWynd,

It is good of you to let us know that our message was received by your friend. For me it is fascinating to read the details of his dreams. It is actually more common then many people realize for messages received in dreams to pertain in important ways to events in their lives and those around them.

I am always on the watch for those who might be of special interest to my studies. Your friend's dreams may be more than he realizes, and if so it may become important for him to understand better the situation he is in. If you care for your friend, you would do well to suggest he contact us soon.

Order of the Castanedas

So I'm assuming you've already emailed him, QBKooky.

I didn't know what Castaneda was, so I googled it. Looks like it has something to do with someone named Carlos Castaneda, a philosopher from the mid 20th century. I guess his philosophies were criticized because they had to do with sorcery and what not. I'll have to do more research later, you guys can get a head start.

--EDIT

I found this site. I suggest you all read the front page, it explains a lot. Very interesting as well.

I just visited the dreamtheory2004 website. It's probably an irrelevent point, but I thought I'd mention it anyway. I thought it was odd that Le Petit Morte was mentioned within the context of sleep. I thought it was French for "orgasm". But maybe I'm wrong.

Well... the term itself translates directly to "The little death", but I've never heard of the term used in relation to dreaming.

-edit-

Ha. Yeah, the French do use the term for having an orgasm. Something about you die a little when having sex.... Oh man, I'm not even going to ask.. x_X

--editedit--

If you read Josh's blog you'll notice he mentions mentioning the "Non Sequitur" term on /dreamtheory2004. "Le Petit Morte" is gone.. xD

I'm sure I've seen "there are other worlds than this" somewhere before.

EDIT: The first book of Stephen King's Dark Tower series, The Gunslinger
