If one reloads the Elysin drug page over and over again, you get a message that sounds like Pandora:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Open your eyes Redpills, do not be fooled by promises of bliss and plenty. There is no return to the deceitful ignorance that you once called your life. Elysium as "they" have come to call your instrument of destruction, is a fatal placebo. If you make the journey to Wright Research you will not return, "they" are waiting for those redpills, foolish enough to seek its embrace. There is no happy ending, not as advertised by this vehicle of doom, the real, the truth you know is harsh and cold but at least its freedom, and a chance at a better tomorrow.

I'm compelled to tell you this, for a great part of this burden lies sqaurely on my shoulders. For the best part of my life I have engineered life changing pharmaceuticals, I knew... no... believed I was making a difference with my dedication and inspiration. All however was lies, a sick perversion of the truth, yes my gifts have surely changed our world, but as surely, they are far from instruments of good.

Regardless of the personal cost I must make amends, I will not falter in this pledge even if my life be forfeit, this cost is trivial when compared to the evil I have wrought. You may ask of me anything you need, perhaps forearmed with this insight you will in your numbers undo together the horror of my lifes work.

I care not for laws or contracts, I am bound to a greater law now. However you and I both know my time here is short, but time enough for me to pass on the secrets of the Matrix, to those that would ask the worthy questions.

Which leads me to believe:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
From the mentioning of pharmaceuticals, and seeing that Miss Night is an expert in that field, it sounds like Miss Night maybe Pandora.

This is neat. *Why* did I let my brother have my beta-test invite? Work shmork. Or is that shmerk?

1999 is the year where the Matrix is "stuck"

I thought it wasn't so much stuck in place (if that's what you're saying?) as just looping a block of time, where the block's way bigger than a year. I'm not up on anything about The Matrix Online, though - does its story contradict that? I need to read up.

Is it just me, or is the grammar all over that site kind of iffy? Both in the "official" parts and in Pandora's messages. This, to me, in that context, seems weird. Otherwise, it's all nicely professional-looking. What's up with that?

Neo's mother's name should be "Michelle" (maiden name: "McCahey"), it is revealed in the first Matrix movie.

The SSH CRC32 exploit was the infamous exploit used by trinity to access the powerstation systems in the 2nd movie Smile

yeah, exactly Smile

no, that's not my forum, it was created by another beta tester

I'm just a messenger Smile BTW, I have significant suspects about Varjaag being one of the pms, he was the first one mentioning the site in the beta boards, just a few hours before the link was put on the frontpage of matrixonline.com, and didn't add up very much since, he even had a post on the slumberil forum, just one saying something like he was happy that his discovery came that far.. very suspicious, smells pm all over Smile

Anyway, about that "transmission schedule mwf" thing, I think it means that we'll hear more from Pandora on wednesday and friday, but it could very well mean other or more things... Have you tried sending a letter to all the available e-mail address? so far I've written to pandora, no reply yet, but I still have to check the junkmail folder, sometimes good stuff ends up there mistakenly

Hi, Omnie's brother! Very Happy Nice to see you here. I think a bunch of people already looked (I remember seeing posts somewhere of people checking out those 3D coordinates, and also the Kalt and Wright Research places), but if you have the time to check them out again, please do, by all means Smile

Er, are you sure about that? This post was started an hour and a half before your post was Wink Besides, it doesn't really matter who was first or anything, we're not competing Razz

Another update

The /htpasswds/users/schlaf/ directory now has a password on it. It seems that it just redirects to the /tmp/ folder. So, if you use the ROOT password, you get the same thing as you would from the /tmp/ or /trash/

Trying to repair the HTML to redirect to /htpasswds/users/schlaf/ yields nada for the two current passwords.

Heh, I just noticed this:
The bio page wrote:
Schlaf ... is a member of the advisory councils for the Mega City Institute for Quantitative Biomedical Research (QB7), the Princeton University Department of Molecular Biology, and the Carol-Lewis Institute for Integrative Genomics, also at Princeton.

The last is actually called the Lewis-Sigler Institute (I guess the changed version is a cute reference to Alice in Wonderland).

Also, did Murphy's htpasswds page always have six links back to parent directory?

It turns out every domain on that server will map to the same FTP account, IE:

ftp://www.4-economy.com/
ftp://www.4-museums.com/
ftp://www.Abeautifulhome.biz/

I think we should probably write off all the FTP stuff as out-of-game now.

Err

Sorry, I was hopped up on chocolate and Jolt cola when I posted that - I'm not competing either, it's just, I launched my forum 11 AM jan 3rd. We almost have 1500 page views, all that jazz. It's just hometown pride, my man! Very Happy
I'm trying to get as many people as I can on one project. I get no benefit out of that, other than seeing an ARG community grow; again, if I left bad vibes on my post, my apologies.
