Another "Dark Tower" fake website

No, this is not sombra or northcentralpositronics, as I'm sure that's been discussed here.

I'm from darktower.net and a new website has surfaced. I doubt it's linked to any game or to the earlier sombra game. I thought people here may be expert enough to figure it out.

It may be waste of time. We've already figured it to be a website from a fan of Stephen King's Dark Tower, maybe this is the only one.

EDIT: sorry, would be nice if I included the website. Embarassed

I found a name in the code of the couple.jpg image that's on the "The Drink" page. The name is

I don't know if it's familiar to you or anyone or not. I definitely don't recognize it.

Interesting. Doesn't ring a bell to me. But I know people who might. Have to get back on that...

BTW, the discussion thread at dt.net: nozzala

I did a google search on the name and got quite a few hits. He seems to be a photographer of some renown. By the way, I'm not really familiar with any of this Dark Tower stuff. Could you give me a litte bit of background on sombra and northcentralpositronics? And, do Dark Tower fans make these "fake" websites often or something?

Sombra Corporation and North Central Positronics are companies responsible for making technology involved with the machines seen in Stephen King's "The Dark Tower". Fake companies of course, that King made up.

A fan or fans saw the books as an opportunity to make an DT-based-ARG and created http://www.sombracorp.com/

It was an ARG that was discussed at www.darktower.net and here as well apparently. But I wasn't even around to see this discussed and take place. It was played and solved before I even joined dt.net

If there's a thread here discussing this ARG I'm sure a search will shed some light.

And no, unfortunately, DT fans to my knowledge do not make DT fake websites alot. Too bad I guess. I was hoping someone would make an ARG more elaborate than the sombra corp thing.

The first thing wasn't really an ARG; more of a diversion. There's more discussion in this thread:
