Possible rabbit hole in Darkness movie trailer

http://www.apple.com/trailers/miramax/darkness/sizes/large.html

I noticed an odd frame at the end of the movie trailer for "Darkness". Possibly a secret message or a code.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
LFOP

The movie seems crappy enough, so I won't waste my time with checking this up. Did, however find something when googling.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
A radio station in Rouen. Could there be an intereting radio transmission?
[/spoiler]

Apparently it is probably nothing.

A quick google for darkness+lfop turned up the following.Google cache - scroll down to the bottom to find it. Highlighted words in post...

Someone called editman posted this on a movie-list.com forum:

anyone know what the LFOP stands for at the end of the darkness trailer??

My guess is: Last Frame Of Picture - IMO it's the end of the trailer film reel and the Apple Trailer people forgot to cut it out when digitising.

And turns out I'm right:

LFOP : Last Frame of Picture. Film acronym for the length of a given reel of film, usually connoting the head leader up to and including the last frame of the reel. Because it is standard to start counting with the Picture Start from of the leader as 0000+00 (zero feet, zero frames), the actual running time of a reel can be calculated by subtracting 11+15 (eleven feet, fifteen frames) to account for the 12-foot, 8-second leader. The two-pop is at 0009+00, and the first frame of picture of a reel is at 0012+00, sometimes referred to as LFOA.

I don't know, it could be a sinister film-based ARG in which a secret society plans to delete the last frame of every movie ever made in order to revive their frame-eating AI. Razz Razz Razz
