[spec]"If this is the last" may mean "If this is the last answer" or in other words, "If this is the screen" That would give you something like "Then ~~this~~ the screen ----h------s." Immediately there are possibilities like "can show words" "can show faces" "can show ----s" "now shows ends", and a variety of other things. So far all I've tried doesn't work.

A couple reasons I think this might be the case are things such as the fact this type of answer would start to form a sentence with our answers so far "There the screens can show ?".[/spec]

I have been working along the same assumptions, but no luck yet.
Here are a few that seem to make sense but dont work....

one other thing I was thinking was the possibility that if "this is the last" then maybe it actually fills in the bottom line of the crossword which would then leave a sort of "fill in the blank"
