Both of them are great videos. I still want to try and get the warthog on top of one of the buildings. It was fun watching the warthog go flying all over the place. And when FugitiveSoldier quit in midair, that was hilarious. Awesome videos, we have to find more launching places in other maps.

Loved the video astrovanman. The welovebees link at the end is a GREAT touch.
Now that I have had time to download the other video also, loved the video Incitatus. Now there is a group of us working on our airborne warthog assault for Waterworks CTF.

Yeah, too bad we didn't get it working. But I think we might have something semi-viable for coagulation, when we play CTF Wraiths there....

WARNING: Launching a Hog with a Wraith WITHOUT proper Overshield protection will 90% of the time result in a obliterated Hog.
And with no overshields on Waterworks, save your Launches for CTF Wraiths on Coagulation.

OH, and Incit: we need to try Wraith --> GHOST launching on Headlong next.
I've heard you can get to quite a few skyscrapers this way.

Had a great time doing the jumps with y'all the other night...kinda liked watching someone finnally get to the top of the crane and then watching SOMEONE else knife them in the back a few moments after...

I love this stuff. It's fun just to try it out. Even after watching the vid of the warthog landing inside the defenders' building on Headlong, I still doubt how useful this technique is in competition. What's required to get all of this to work? Does everyone in the vehicle need permanent overshields? How many tries do you need to get the vehicle to land in a good spot? How many jumps can the warthog take before it's destroyed? If it's possible to use in competition, I'd at least like to know what's going on when I see someone trying it.

In competition, probably not. I don't think the playlist are setup for team overshields right now. As for the basics of the trick, Incitatus can probably better explain that one.
Still, how freaked out would you be if you were defending the flag and all of the sudden a warthog came barreling down the middle of the building?!

Those are my thoughs exactly. Even if the warthog is destryoed, if everyone jumped out at the right time, it would freak the defenders out and make them more disorganized. The key is to get everyone into position quickly. Now is anyone out there willing to pratice this technique for competion play? Regardless, this should definitly go down in the "playbook" Clayfoot is transcribing.
