 		LA Beekeepers?
Hey guys!

I'm going to be in Sherman Oaks, CA, sometime around Jan. 19th, and was hoping that I might be able to arrange a night with some of the LA beekeepers for a dinner or something. However, I can't seem to find out who is in the LA area, as there are only 3 CA beekeepers registered with TheBruce's Beekeeper Directory. So I'm posting this to find out who might be in the LA/Sherman Oaks area around that time, and when would be a good time for you to meet up. I've also heard a rumor that we might be able to get a celebrity guest there, if we're all good and ask nicely.

Well, I should be flying in the 17th, and leaving the 20th, if all goes as planned. So any of the days {17,18,19} work for me. What works for you guys?

Oh, yeah, any of the moderators... I was just saying that HHM could contact me specifically with her info. The other avalible mods are thebruce, Krystyn, Weephun, and Eclipse, all of which are perfectly capable of helping you out... oh, and they rock too.

 		Hey guys-

So here's what I'm thinking. Wednesday, January 19th (a week from today), eveningish (7ish?), at a location of your guys's choosing (since I know practically nothing about the LA area.)

I'll try and send out an e-mail with this as well when I get home tonight. Does this work for people? Is there anyone out there that can't make it on wednesday?

 		I am pretty sure I can make it - I should at least be able to drop by if it's westside

- if you are going to be in LA you should at least have some awesome mexican food or sushi - there is a great mexican place called la cabana on Rose and Lincoln in Venice, and there is another good place in Venice called Hana Sushi - there are better sushi places but not for a gathering.

OR you know, you can always go to CPK or something like that at the promenade. They'll give us crayons and we can write i love bees all over the table. And other patron's tables!!! There is a PF Changs on Wilshire and 4th near the promenade - I mean not nec. *indigenous* but a good place for a gathering.

just some thoughts
