Myself and Silrn want to make it up, but not sure if we can, with all the other traveling we have planned this spring. However, Anime Central is May 13-15th, and we were thinking that that might be a decent weekend to have it, as I'm sure a fair number of the beekeepers might enjoy the convention.

It's a thought.

If you haven't gotten an invitation by email to vote yet, be sure to send your email address to Phaedra or to myself. Since it's a ranked system, you can put any weekend you like at the top for any reason at all. And while you can rank all of your favorites #1 and all of your least favorites #13, the voting will work better if you actually rank them with different numbers. You can always change your vote anytime before the election is closed.

Now is the time to lobby everyone else for a best weekend or weekends. Tell us all why we should vote for or against certain weekends. Nothing says you have to vote just for your own favorite weekends. You can rank some or all of your choices in favor of someone else. For example, I could put one or two weekends at the top as my personal choices, then rank someone else's weekends as my next two highest choices. If my personal choices don't win outright, I've still thrown my support for my friend's choices.

I'll be in Chicago March 12-20, in part for a conference the 15th-19th, so I'm free the weekend of the 12th-13th and the 19th-20th. Even if the hivemeet doesn't happen then, would love to meet up with folks!

And as he travels around the outer US states, he could swing through New York, cut across Ontario and grab me on his way over to Chicago too! woohoo! I'm so in!

*cough*
You know what sucks? Having 1 regular gathering across the continent (LA), and having the other 2 major gatherings (Ch, NY) about equidistant from your home, and not easily accessible without personal transportation. *sigh* i miss all the fun...

angelo,
It looks like you need to bring a camper or an Escalade or something, because this Road Trip is becoming a parTAY, what with all the folks you have to pick up. This should only take about a month to get everyone together...
