Mr Jon Harker
And here's to you, Mr Jon Harker
Jesus loves you more than you will know
(Wo wo wo)
God bless your soul Mr Jon Harker
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
(and those who buy on E-bay Bay, E-Bay Bay)
We'd like to know a little bit about you for our files
We'd like to help you learn to help yourself
Look around you, all you see are sympathetic eyes
Stroll round the Hiding Room it's your home
And here's to you, Mr Jon Harker
Jesus loves you more than you will know
(Wo wo wo)
God bless your soul Mr Jon Harker
Heaven holds a place for those who pray
(Hey hey hey – e-bay bay)
Hide it in a Hiding Room where no one ever goes
Put it in your journal with your passwords
It's a little secret, just the Jon Harker affair
Most of all you've got to hide it from the Dis
Coo coo ca choo, Mr Jon Harker
Jesus loves you more than you will know

God bless your soul Mr Jon Harker
Heaven holds a place for those who clue
(interbrew, phew, phew, phew)
Sitting at the PC on a Sunday afternoon
Googling til your fingertips are numb
Laugh about it, shout about it
When you've got to pick
Which clue's real & which a trick?
Where have you gone, Jonnie Harker?
A nation turns its lonely eyes to you
(Woo woo woo)
What's that you say, Mr J Harker
Jonnie H has left and gone away?
(Giz a clue so what's the Day?)

(i'm just addicted, that's all!)
PS that song was funny, that's why i guess they changed it to HUMOUR.

final post today, I promise ...it's very late anyway but got a bit of a "high" seeing this thread near the top for a while ...
small things..... small minds (yes, i know)
this poor thread will dwindle away to the bottom now..
see Wishi-San, your supreme harshness will erode this poor harmless thread away..
(and you haven't got a sobbing emoticon either...)
..well W-S, you did say we could use this for light relief..
know have abused a bit tonight but promise to be sensible in future if everyone else is
vivre le FUN!!! (yes.. before anyone corrects me i speak crap French, but i try )

the 21th is far far away..
I need rehab.
OR.................A CLUE!!!
i'm getting frustrated, i keep googleing things,
true i've learned a lot, and read a lot of different things,
but it doesn't get me anywhere
at least what i'm learning for my exams get's me points...
shouldn't googling my ass of, and constantly thinking about a 100 different things, get me clues??
.........it's only fair
never mind me, bit desperate i guess, and Mac you're not alone...
think i'm addicted too, they shouldn't make it that damn interesting

OK got sensible head on again (for a wee while)
put this post on this thread coz though a bit more serious than other posts above, it's such a daft and "stretching it a bit" spec that it belongs in "[HUMOUR?] (plus it keeps my thread topical and hence "near the top of the forum )
..this just shows how much game affecting my life and sanity to the extent that am dreaming how to solve clues now!!!
t'other night (after many beers.. not Stella but if Stella helps us, may be v tempted to try a bit of the old amber nectar) i fell into a shallow sleep punctuated with many troublesome, dark thoughts
U and I; U and I
- these innocuous letters kept flashing into my semi sozzled brain
..then they joined together and formed the symbol "Y" (the greek letter PSI)
(a "U" overlaid" by the letter"I") which forms the TRIDENT... dud dee duh dud duhhhh!!. .. unfortunately this premonition has borne little fruit
it has only compounded (to hubbie's reckoning anyway) his theory that ARG's are definitley unhealthy - plus he is not too happy that his tea now comprises microwave ready meals - a real boon to us busy housewives if you ask me & if Stella has any ideas on how to cook a demanding husband a truly delicious tasty meal in a few minutes with the help of a bottle of its lager,I will really grovel
