What is it? I emailed the address at the bottome of the main page but all I got was a reply singing the words of 'Freebird' by Lynyrd Skynyrd (as that's part of my email address). It's a bit mad and not sure if it's a joke, part of an ARG or something altogether wierder, but thought I'd post it here as well as in the main News & Rumours forum.

 		hey guys, its been almost a year and a half since ive been here (cant even remember my old username and password or what email its connected to!)

I just received a text message from +1 312 213 5733 which is a Chicago area code that was a "shared contact" (something available only for iphones?) And in the shared contact was no name or anything, just a google maps URL which leads to coordinates "41.082998, -87.267551" which appears to be a pretty green field southeast of Chicago... anyone else get something like this or is something weird happening to me and my phone?

www.droiddoes.com Is the site for the Motorola Droid phone being marketed for Verizon. It's really more of an iPhone slam site at the moment.

It's likely nothing, but the countdown timer using strange glyphs instead of numbers set-off my "keep an eye on this" radar.

It's set to go off (for me, at least) at midnight on October 30th.

 		I've just read about Douglas Roushkoff and his ARG with trail-webpage at http://exoriare.com/. Looking at unfiction I found an old thread with "Timewasters" (http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=19289) about the page with the same domain. But it was old (2007) and had different contents. I haven't opened a new thread now, perhaps you know more about it.

 		weird phone call - 'The Demon?'
I'm seriously freaked out right now. I've just gotten 4 phone calls from a number in Oregon which showed up on my caller ID as 'The Demon.' Thinking it was just a wrong number, I let it ring the first time. But I thought it was kind of weird that there was a name attached to a number I didn't know. So, I checked my contacts.

...The Demon is listed in my contacts.

That really wigged me out. I couldn't answer it because I was so freaked. My suitemate called the number and left them a message asking to please not call again...but how did the number get into my contacts?!

I'm posting here because as scared as I am, it does seem rather ARG-ish. o_o

EDIT: Never mind...it was just my jackass friend. I can't even begin to tell you how pissed off I am at him right now!!!
