OK, I'm guessing it's nothing, but...

I got a 12-second cell-phone call from Luxembourg, Germany this morning. I live in TEXAS, so there's no way it wasn't dialed deliberately (even if it was a wrong number). When I answered it was 12 seconds of instrumental music. But it didn't sound like it was in the background. It sounded deliberate. The number in my log says: +352 3520352, which I was able to trace as far as country before getting stymied. I don't know what to make of this.

Has this happened t anyone else? Should I accept it, let it go - OR should I keep trying to trace it?

Darn. I was hoping it was the start of something cool. Ah well. Thanks, though. I didn't know that website existed.

I haven't been following any threads lately, but I just got this IM from ChellLearnsTruth (I'm assuming it's for some ongoing Portal ARG):

DOn't know what to make of the message, but I do recognize send-email.org as an anonymous email site. You can use it to send untracable emails.

Following extensive enquiries, I have it on good authority that

r=a+b(theta)

is known as an Archimedes spiral. It describes a point that is moving away from its start at constant velocity whilst also revolving around it's axis.

It might be coincidental, but there's an ARG going on now that mentions warriors and an Archimedes spiral:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30217

I haven't been following it, I just googled "Archimedes spiral warrior" and ended up back at these forums! Very Happy

So is the original e-mail a recruitment drive for the 'Plato's Cave' ARG?

So, talking to some people who enjoy creepy things, we all managed to stumble upon this - http://inuscreepystuff.blogspot.com/2010/09/majora.html

Sure it's a creepy pasta, but it's pushing my ARG buttons something fierce. Or! It's just wishful thinking.

Thoughts?
