 		I just took a look and there is a weird image with numbers on it. It's very ARG-y, but I don't know how to get the image off the ebook and onto the site.

The numbers are word-letter count for the paragraph below the picture in the book. You can peek inside the book on the amazon page linked in an above post to see the image and the text underneath. The message is "Generator dying send new one".

Hard to say. I wonder if there's more to find in the book. We don't have any contact info or websites to go to. IMO not enough for its own thread right now...

Looks to be a bit more. After a little searching, I found that you can read a little more in the samples on Smashwords:

 		GRAVITY FALLS
So, Cartoon Networks' new show, Gravity Falls, has a few interesting cyphers in the credits that I can't figure out, and my boyfriend mentioned something about finding codes in the book too. Is this worth making a trailhead over? I tried looking up stuff on the cyphers and apparenlty there is some kind of game, if not an ARG than some side-media thing at least. A bit Skeleton Creek, it looks like? I just saw mentions of a game, but I can't find a game itself. :/
It's late where I am. XD I'll edit with some more concrete evidence and links later.

It is always worth making a *thread* for something which you know is not spam and does have a puzzle. It is not always worth a "Trailhead" tag. In fact, if this is not a game but just a fun thing to solve, try putting it over in our "TimeWasters" section.

(I look forward to seeing the ciphers!)

I'm like 99% sure this is a Nigerian Prince type scam, but the setup does seem a bit ARG-ish. Maybe someone could steal the idea and revamp it somehow, at the very least? XD

I can't bring the FB page up..it keeps telling me it doesn't exist. Also, I can't find a Mordred in Texas..
