Labrat here, pulled out of 6 months of retirement by one suspicious email.
I don't know if it is anything, but take a look Wink
Oh, this came to an email adress I have had for about 4 months, not the one I was previously using on ARGN. It would not have been hard to get it though.

Now, www.naturalenvironments.com is a very ordinary seeming website, and I havent had time to search it thoroughly.

It would be appreciated if someone checked it out, I will update if anything comes up Smile

The picture wouldnt display, and when I clicked properties, none were available. I guess it is just a empty frame.

Nanette bev posting from eroll harvey's email?

Alright, this is probably nothing, (or even worse - real spam), but I just received the following message at my gmail:

Quote:
If you are interested seeing an unusual Web site pertaining to ancient electrical devices, click: http://ancientskyscraper.com

You will not be disappointed!

Feel free to forward this email to your friends.

Now, I initially thought it was spam, but since the URL didn't have any tracking info, I figured I give it a click.

Things suggesting there's more below the surface:
 • two different domain names to hock a $20 short-run book
 • rather unique, and somewhat gaudy, but not entirely bad site design
 • the overall design of both sites feels way too good for the apparent quality of the content (remember ILB?)
 • the email was sent one-off (I'm the to: line) from a verizon DSL line, near as I can tell.
Things suggesting it's just a kook with a book:
 • the guy exists (is in the phone book)
 • the template on the first page appears to be an off-the shelf job from a CMS vendor (also explains the single-item side menu
 • selling a real product
I've always hoped I might get handed a trailhead (I made the axon mapper after all Very Happy), but given myriad/4ourty2wo's history, an email seems a little bit low production value for a trailhead Confused .

Looks to me like they are targeting TLE players. The upper and lower case are just alternated to make it look mysterious.

SPEC: a wanna be ARG but really not telling where to go or what to do before 8p. Good luck with that.

This email was for the ORG in timewasters. Urban Nightmare.

Thereisnoescapingme was a YIM name used to help get the 2nd pass.

I made a post FS/FT A,A_c recently and when I finished it the message said
your post will take 3-10 hours to appear. Not more than 5 minutes
later I received a E-mail reply to the post. I could not view my post
until 5.5 hours later at 12:30 in the morning. I replied back to the
E-mail and asked him how he seen the post so quickly. He said he just
seen it come up and that the post time delay may have something to do
with my ISP! I sent a question to Google groups support but their
reply was they were very busy and it may take some time to respond! I
checked their FAQ's to no avail. My ISP is a cable company DSL hi
speed line.

Can anyone shed some light on this. Is there anything the member can
do differently to see these posts as soon as they are released. If it
is the ISP what do you tell them to do differently? Is there a better
URL or IP address to access??

Appreciate any replies,
Rich

Hi all, I know a maximum of 256 devices can be created per server. But when I was creating 125th device, DbArtisan is generating vdevno as 2. What is the problem here? Then I started creating the devices using scripts (not by using DbArtisan tool) by giving vdevno as previousDevNo+1. But the Device Number of my 128th device is being shown as -128, when I use the following select statement: select low/16777216 as "Device Number",name from sysdevices order by low Can anybody explain what's going on here? Thanks Bhargava

Dear Daniellle Fortes Lopes:

This is my response to your request for infomation on Guillain Barre
Syndrome. Here is information from CMD&T 1994 pp 843-844 and pp 1109-1110:

"The cerebrospinal fluid characteristically contains a high protein
concentration with normal cell content, but these changes may take 2 or 3
weeks to develop. Electrophysiologic studies may reveal marked
abnormalities, which do not necessarily parallel the clinical disorder in
their temporal course. Pathologic examination has shown that primary
demyelination occurs in regions infiltrated with inflammatory cells, and it
seems probably that myelin disruption has an autoimmune basis.

"When the diagnosis is made, the history and appropriate laboratory studies
should exclude the possibility of porphyric, diphtheritic, or toxic (heavy
metal, hexacarbon, organophosphate) neuropathies. Poliomyelitis, botulism,
and tick paralysis must also be considered. The presence of pyramidal
signs, a marked asymmetric motor deficit, a sharp sensory level, or early
sphincter involvement should suggest a focal cord lesion.

"Most patients eventrally make a good recovery, but this may take many
months, and 10-20% patients are left with persisting disability. Treatment
with prednisone is ineffective and may actually affect the outcome adversely
by prolonging recovery time...patients should be admitted to intensive care
if their forced vital capacity is declining...approximately 3% of patients
with acute idiopathic polyneuropathy have one or more clinically similar
relapses, sometimes several years after the initial illness. Plasma
exchange therapy may produce improvement in chronic and relapsing
inflammatory polyneuropathy.

"In Guillain-Barre syndrome the weakness is more symmetric and ascending,
and the cerebrospinal fluid usually has a high protein content but normal
cell count [as compared to poliomyelitis]."

Hope this helps...
--Noel

image is a 1x1 square that covers the rest of the page. if you back up to the first page on that server, it's a signup for a life insurance quote.
so is this malfuntioning spam or something else?
it seems like that would be a lot of troube to go to to advertise for life insurance, and it's not very specific...
maybe i'm reaching....

Most of the headers are just the email being forwarded from that address to my gmail address.

I dunno, I think it may be a new type of spam, because I just got one at my work address (which I'm fairly certain I've never given anyone involved with ARGs):
