Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you take a look at de date differences in the old and new cache you find the sequence 122128.
2-apr-2004 (old) - 1-apr-2004 (new) difference = 1
6-apr-2004 (old) - 4-apr-2004 (new) difference = 2
11-aug-2004 (old) - 13-aug-2004 (new) difference = 2
13-aug-2004 (old) - 14-aug-2004 (new) difference = 1
29-aug-2004 (old) - 27-8-2004 (new) difference = 2
23-oct-2004 (old) - 31-oct-2004 (new) difference = 8

Btw, if anyone is still having problems with loading the site, I finally got this to work for MissChelle:
First, check your cache. There should be a file called HarkerJmain.swf. It should have a modified date of Jan 20th. If it doesn't, delete this file, then try reloading http://www.thehidingroom.com again. Double check the modified date of HarkerJmain.swf as it should be correct now. The modified version is the one that allows you to click on the phone, so if you don't have it available, you aren't going to get to play with the phone.
Hope this helps anyone still having problems.

So now we are supposed to find out, where "an Aleph meets the Star"
On a first glance:
In an article about Aldebaran: "Hebrews rendered this star God's Eye. Another Hebrew name for this star was Aleph, which was also used for the constellation of Taurus."

Hi, it's me here. If anyone's out there, I've got a message that might interest you. I've... I'm pretty much finished with the book. It's strange; everything seems to end where it begins. It's left me with a question that I need some help with. I need to find out where the aleph meets the star, to repeat, where an aleph meets the star. I'm currently researching a lead on the morve edu (sp?) and I won't be leaving here for a while. But if you can help me with the aleph and the star, we might just be able to end this. And you can contact me through the usual channels.

Just another random thought, that just came up my mind:
Jon says, all ended, where it began. Where aleph met the star may also refer to where Shuck (Aleph anniversary) met the Hornchurchstar (Taurus is the first horoscope) with the entry: You dream of things that you cannot afford. There is only one way to get what you want. Give into the temptation. Close the deal.
Could be either very pessimistic view, or a hint that theres more to the S+S website now.
Just random, but spoilered for anyone trying to solve the PIN-riddle for themselves

Hi,
First post, but Lurked for a while, so feel free to falme. Will spoiler this because people may still be solving the pin number puzzle.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Just google'd "morve edu" and produced no hits, however, google suggest a correction in spelling to "morte edu" the main results for this are Fantasy Football sites in the UK (Luis Boa Morte and Edu are players in the English premiership) in the first site listed by google a player called "Ray of Hope" swapped Boa Morte for Edu TWICE, once on 13th March 2004 then on 30th March 2004. This is probably nothing, but this only shows up in google Cache and I didn't want people to miss it if it gets deleted??? Considering Jon's interest in Football (particularly Arsenal for whom Edu plays) I thought this may be relevant.

You can use a third party client, the Unfiction chat, or (if those don't work) do a search for cgi and you should be able to find a cgiirc client that works.
Nickname: "Lurker" ????? or do I need to subscribe or change this word?
Morning all.

It has been suggested that the pin should be 6 digits. How has that been indicated? I can enter even more than 8 digits. I haven't checked if there is a maximum (I'm at work now and the sounds disturb my colleagues ).
Would any Fibonaaci sequence be the key? Or maybe the sequences that have been found in comparing the dates from the cache-entries?
I will check some possibilities later this day, but maybe someone has some spare time?

I can assure you, the number has 6 digits. It tells you, if you submit (I think) less than that.

Question about 1 of the messages from Dennis:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Who is the person on the photo Dennis sent? I could be wrong, but he doesn't look like much Dennis.. Is it Jon? and if so... how did Dennis find the opportunity to take a photo of Jon, if he is hiding?

the message from Antonio is wondering me....
if you go to sable and shuck, then login with your own logindetails... and go to "the offering" you get a nice flash thingy where your possible options is showing...
the last option, textiles, gives a nice thank you to
Antonio, from the house of carde
my 2 cents bet is that they are the same...and as far as i can see here, we never really investigated in that House of carde, and or Antonio
http://deaddrop.us/wiki/index.php/The_House_of_Carde
this is the only thing i could find about antonio.....
posted by one of our own players hehe...
well, guess it is time to go a bit deeper in it

Dennis says welcome aboard....
that is usually said on a boat, or an airplane.......
could it be that dennis saw jon somewhere, and assumed jon was carrying his mobile? then dennis sent him the textmessage.
but jon left his phone home (<--lol, ET), so jon can never have read the text msgs...neither the msgs of antonio.....

welcome aboard or does Dennis mean 'Welcome abroad' as in 'Hi - welcome to the happy family of people who have sold their souls'?
