I got another e-mail from the astrology guy,

Quote:
Hi Meak,

The original Temple of Solomon no longer exists, but it is also symbolic of the inner 'temple'... within the human psyche. I suggest doing a search for 'temple of solomon' on the Net for more information.

Hockmah means 'wisdom'. It is the name generally given to the second sephirah of the Tree of Life. It represents a divine force that is far above normal human consciousness. Again, I would recommend a search.

Cheers,
Patrick.

Not sure what to make of this, if indeed there's anything at all.

great nadif, hadn't thought of that. look at this page:http://www.4degreez.com/misc/dante-inferno-test.mv

recognize something?

That's just a silly test, quite not related to Dante to tell the truth.
There are nonetheless a lot of sites dedicated to the Divine Comedy. I have a degree in Italian Literature (I'm living in Brazil at the moment but I'm Italian) so Dante and the Comedy are quite my thing. And yet, without further directions that's not helping: we have, to be honest, no idea of where to look.

Hi All,

Another one from Isarel (the 'Aleph' flushes us all out). Smile

Just my 2 cents but I think the use of the Aleph in the S&S site does not mean infinity. The company has been here for a year since it was previously called goldenfutures...
The use of the Hebrew Aleph icon suggest 1st rather than infinity (although, if you try hard enough, Aleph can mean God and God is infinity).

The story about the Black Dog and the people getting killed by lightnings brings me to the weather map. I think it hasn't been explored enough. The map is in flash format because (my guess) the appearance order of the signs has a meaning. Needless to point out that the weather map IS on Jon's laptop screen. I tried several ways to decipher the map with no luck (yet) but I'm quite sure there's something in it.
The map is of Lancaster, CA. and the airport shown in the map is KWJF (Fox Airfield) - could it be of any relevance?
I even tried to follow Avenue I in Lancaster trying to find where U and I might meet. No luck (yet again).

Yeah, the map. I thnk too that there must be something important there, but so far I wasn't able to find anything. I'm focusing mostly on the very odd symbols uset to represent the weather events - they can be seen as similar to alphabet letters, or maybe there's something else we're missing.

well... my last post in this

I stop now with my research. all I (that is:WE!) have found out with some level of certaincy is this:

ALEPH
1.aleph is god (hebrew)
2. aleph is A and 1 in hebrew
3. aleph is a symbol for a set of infinite numbers (maths)
4. message in hilberts hotel:"I came here to discuss the use of the Aleph in Mathematical philosophy. I must say it was a most enlightening experience and will Never forget it. As far as Hilbert's went, I find Wonderfully appropriate. Although you can't help feeling that there is more around the Corner." (message: i am in ahiwac)
5. s&s had her aleph anniversary on 30 april (nb: jons message in the cache is broken on 30th april and 1st may)
6. Aleph is the name of a short story from Borges
7. aleph is related to the ox and the (horoscopesign) taurus (left eye star)
8. a star with an aleph in the middle is nr 34, gatename aleph-cath, Uranus-Sun guarded by Katzaziel
9. www.alephstar.com is NOT ingame
10. the aleph and the star COULD be connected in the tree of life
11. the aleph, the zero (not one!), is the fool in the tarotcards
12. the aleph and ninepointstar where together in a symbol in the temple of salomo

STAR
1. a star in the sky, maybe from a sign from the horoscope;
2. the devil (5 point star)
3. star of David (six point star)
4. the morning star, represents the king of babel, but also the devil, lucifer (= fallen men and sometimes believed to be the devil), and jesus (Jesaja, book of Revelations)
5. names: book of star, hornchurch star
6. the sun

other findings:
1. Madra dubh -- MOD-ruh doo -- means "Black dog" or "black shuck";
2. Faust encounters a black dog (faust=goethe, see horoscope);
3. the 3th book in the bookcase is (thanx to the dantespecialist) Dantes inferno. correct me if i'm wrong, nadif: in this play, it depents on the worth of your soul (how bad you were), in what part of hell you will be trown in the afterlife (weight of the soul).

i learned a lot, but i can't bring one and one together in a place, i.e. (an/the) aleph meets the star. there are a lot of options in my opinion, but none satisfies me 100%.

therefore i stop thinking about it. i just gonna search for missed clues ingame and wait for the next. although i keep my hopes up for you guys, proven to be very creative in finding all the solutions!

excellent summary.
just one more thing... you half mentioned it...
on the S+S website the aleph symbol appears in the same paragraph as the word 'stellar'.

(not trout, just completing the list)

The symbols are standard weather signs used on all weather maps, sorry.

More about the star

Somthing i thought about during a shower and turnd to be interesting.

Check this out:

There is a refference in jon's journal (only when entering with IBIDEM) about that he heard lots of bad STAR wars joke.
This refference is on the 5th of May (5/5).
There is also maybe a clue on the the Pathway flash book - Daniel 5.

Worth any thing ?

not sure if this is relevant found this passage on a websight about hebrew alphabet

Accordingly, Cabbalistic literature teaches that the Aleph-Beis- representing all Divine forces- does not culminate with the Tav (Th) but turns around to reunite again with the Aleph (A) symbolizes the unique One of the Universe, who is PWS NYA (Ayin Soph), the Infinite. Having attained the level of understanding represented by the final Sepherah or the last letter of the Aleph-Beis, one has not completed his task. He begins again because he now uses the Aleph (A)- the very beginning- with new eyes. He begins again, because the ladder climaxing in the Tav (Th) has given him a new perspective on the Aleph (A), which in turn leads him to ever higher levels of perfection as he ascends from letter to letter, from teaching to teaching, from aspiration to aspiration. Sepher Yetzirah expresses this concept by nothing that, their (letters of the Aleph-Beis) end is enchored in their beginning and their beginning in their end. Thus, the Aleph-Beis represents the idea that "completion" requires a return to the beginning in a continuous cycle. This sequence of return from Tav to Aleph is a recurring concept in Cabbalah. It is first found in the interconnection of Tav and Aleph, the last and first of the twenty-two forces with which God created the Universe during the six days of Creation.

The Lucifer=morning star thing is a misconception.

You're thinking helel ben-shakar, the shining one, who is also talked about falling. Lucifer was the Roman translation, but it was never meant to refer to Satan, which means Adversary. They're two different people entirely.

I just want to point out that, regardless of Isaiah's intent when he talked about Heylel, it is very widely understood to be refering to at least a type of Satan (even if that is in the person of the king of Babylon). Without getting too caught up in theology, I think the reference is still strong. Non-linguists can check out this resource for some background on it.

Babalyon as the object of wrath is revisited much in Revelations (especially in chs. 17-18 ). Aside from that, there are all sorts of stars in the book of Revelations (but we're talking greek instead of hebrew now).
- 2:28 has a morning star as a reward for the faithful,
- I vaguely recall somethings being ornamented with stars (like, encrusting a crown or something),
- 8:10-11 has a falling star called Wormwood hit the Earth and poison the water,
- 8:12 has a third of all stars going dark,
- 9:1 has a falling star that basically starts a time of tribulation for the faithful on Earth,
- 22:16 has Jesus being called the Morning Star (harkening back to a prophecy from a sorcerer in Numbers 24:17). Incidentally, the Rev. 24 star follows a couple of verses after where Jesus is referred to as Alpha and Omega.

Most of the bad Revelations star stuff happens as a result of angels blowing trumpets.

yeah, blame the trumpetters hehe...lol

i found somewhere else (cant remember where, will look it up)

that the morning star and the evening star are one and the same.....

eveningstar, as announcer of the dark night referring to satan,
morningstar as bringer of light reffering to Jesus

Lucifer is the name of satan, when he still was an angel working for god in the heavens, until he got casted out......

jesus is reffered to lucifer as well, as bringer of light.

(dont forget that in the early ages after jess life, and in the roman time, lots of christens had to be secretive about there religion, so a lot of names etc are cryptic, to confuse the romans..

like the symbol of jesus, found in the catacombs of rome:

ichtus (fish) we all know the famous fish on the back of cars...90 degrees turned aleph.............

so, be very carefull how to interpred what on internet, because a lot of research we are following now has been done "the other way around" just opposite of what we think it is meaning....

i would love to see the refferences and differences to pagan/christiannity religion in this game, and there is a lot of it.
much like d Browns books, or other writers who explain paganism these days, kinda like a new "fancy" thing

Edit: http://www.maestre.org/misterio_de_maria.htm
this is what i mean.....it can get really confusing
