Has anyone left a message at the second number simply stating any one of our theories of where the aleph meets the star?
For example a message stating armeggedon or mountain of meggido or temple of Salomo or [c]ho[c]kmah?

If this is ". . .I can be reached by the usual means. . ." then we ought to tell him our theories on his question. I don't know how to dial internationally and I don't think my wife would enjoy the bill so I'm not able to leave the messages.

considering that the message on that phone seems to be just part of the one we found in the hiding room - how can we be sure it is really jon's phone?
i've sent a txt msg asking me to contact me if it was really him, but not giving information. still waiting for a reply.

i left a message yesterday regarding the theories we were having, and as it didnt cut me off i talked for a while and then waited to see if anything happened, and then i talked some more. So if anyone was listening, they know.

I'm currently reading digital fortress. As for the code in back:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Each number is a chapter. If you take the first letter of each chapter, you get wecgewhyaaiortnu. Arrange them in a square as mentioned near the beginning of the book:

wecg
ewhy
aaio
rtnu

If you read down the columns, you get wearewatchingyou (we are watching you)

Not especially fruitful, but fun nonethelessh

Thing is, one can just keep going. If Aleph = infinity = beginnings = endings, it all gets a bit TS Eliot and ends up meaning nothing at all.

Consider: the aleph as infinity, ie God, therefore Jesus
The star as the light-bearer, thus Lucifer.

And where do they meet? Where else, but Jerry Springer: the Opera?

Eureka, etc.

well about beginnings and endings....

jon mentions the book of star is written in code....
and recently he found out that all ends begin where it starts...kinda circular to my opinon.....

guess it is kinda like the law of Parsimony...

where multiple explanations exist, the simplest is usually correct...

what would be the simplest answer?

Where they meet

I'd say "The same place". Maybe even in latin or something.

Truth be known, there are a lot of possible passwords to this thing. That said, the best way to deduce a new direction to take is to look at the (failure of) directions taken.

I think that we should start up some sort of string or topic for unsuccessful passwords. This way, we become so much more efficient; nobody will beat a dead horse, and anyone (who reads this forum) can assess the past tries and give something new a try.

I'll start:

oilbeefhooked - doesn't work in the mezzanine door, or Jon's cache, or Jon's contract; this group of sought-after passwords can hereforth be referred to as "the axes of Jon". haha...sorry, got a bit carried away.

Just another theory on Aleph meets Star, could it be Bethlehem? The star of Bethlehem that led the wise men? It seemed to fit.

Got it guys:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the Aleph is the centre pole of a 5 pointed star drawn on The Round Table belonging to King Arthur.
http://www.soulinvitation.com/buehler/ariatearth.html
It is what is known as THE ARIAT EARTH GRID.
It just so happens that the grid refernces point to peel castle, which is where Jon is (at least Brigid agrees that it makes sense, see other thread for more info)

just what do we do with this information?
