Not sure if this is what you'd call a spoiler or not..but..from the many sites you have most likely been to Olaf's site with the pictures. If you click on the info section you get two links. Clicking on the second one..for the UK gives you information for a Mark George. Go to his site. You find a list of photographers..the first one on the list is a Dan Burn-Forti. The third picture in his series, shows a sign with the word Star on it. To the right of that you see some resemblance to a street sign that looks as though it's stuck in the wall..the name on the sign is pretty blurred though. Just to the right of the sign..a man in black..and not sure if that lil symbol above him looks much like aleph or not..i think i spelled that right..thought this might be pretty important.

On that same site, instead of clicking on the third picture...click on the first. Is that not him standing there? Next to the house with the 44?

Dan Brown is a terrible writer who feels the need to end every chapter with a cliffhanger to keep his readers interested. If he were really a good writer, he would not need to resort to such cheap tactics: you would want to read the book anyway. And anyone that didn't figure out the end 1/4 of the way through the book is an idiot.

BUT THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SABLE AND SHUCK.

So please, stop posting across every thread how this is just like Dan Brown, blah blah blah Da Vinci code, blah blah blah how cool is this...because it's NOT.

It just wastes everyone's time when we're hoping people have real ideas/solutions. Stop pimping for a book that no one wants to read anyway.

i dont mean by mentioning d Brown to check his books for clues!
i only state that there are similarities, which reach to me as top-coincidense.....

and, please i enjoy reading d Brown very much. ofcourse i understand there are more literate ppl then me outside my computermonitor, but thenagain, let ppl enjoy his books.
and i understand that his books are doing a lot of damage to the church and other known institutes, but thenagain he is a WRITER, who did research in his stuff.....

i kinda feel the same, we do research all the time, making provable statements, and a lot of red herrings (isnt that about all writing cliffhangers)

d Brown just inspired me, and some of us to go further in certain material, which accidental gets in this ARG too....

i wont post about his books again

i enjoyed the da vinci code and there are some interesting parallels (ones that the pm's are probably playing on because the books pretty big in contemporary consciousness), but lets just hope that brigid is a better rounded character than any of dan brown's female creations...jeesus how many beautiful, yet brilliant, experts in their field can there be kicking about? :p just comedy writing at times. its like he found out all this great history then twisted it and wrapped it up in a hack novel. sorry now im just venting, but the bit above was relavent...ish Confused

Not meaning to stray off topic, but actually if you research the information given, Dan Brown is spot on. And you cant say that it is poorly written, even if you didnt like it you have to agree that it was highly intricate.

*OFFTOPIC* Every two pages he gives a "This (object) reminded (character) of the (true or false historical fact)" which lasts another 2 pages. The plot unfolds at an uninteresting pace, there aren't any good twists. The only reasons that this book was brought to the bestselling list were the historical question marks that Brown presented as facts.

I agree too... this is very, very silly

Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa, da Vinci drew you
You're so like a lady with a macho side
Is it merely 'cause you're really a cross dresser
And was Leo taking us all for a ride

Dan Brown wrote a bit about you, mona lisa
and about knights templar and Fibonacci
Many tomes have been brought to our bookshops
and they just lie there, for us to buy there
Are they good, are they bad, mona lisa?
Or just a passing fad in life's brief history?

<instrumental interlude>

Mona lisa, mona lisa

..and now for something completely different
.....

for what its worth i agree with meak about what jon says in the voice message (back on page 7 of this thread). there is no way in hell he is saying 'the mort de dieu' if he was, even a person with bad pronounciation would not say mort tha doo .. but something more along the lines of a clear and defined 'DE' and even DEEU nowhere near doo.

so my question to all you happy bunnies is, what is that morta thingo doo?

been catching up today. most likely will find more answers soon, atm i feel more like posting less like searching Wink
