Sort of on topic:

For those of us unable to make the Hivemeet, I'm trying to put together a big 'ol meetup tonight on Live. I'll be on immediately following the big MTV Xbox 360 special thingy.

Oh, and BYOB Smile

Have fun in Chicago everyone!

Yeah, rock the house(s) guys.

I will be on Live for the Backup Party, lol.

Hopefully there will be many more Reunion Hivemeets on the road ahead. Very Happy

I'm disappointed so many of us won't be going. If possible, I'll post pictures while we're there.

I've set up a flickr account, mayhaps I'll snap some cameraphone pics and send them to it. (I'd bring my real digital camera if it wasn't the size of a brick and use about as many batteries in a day).

One last present...

I took all the info I could easily find about where important events are happening and how to get there and compiled them into this lurvely PDF. Most of this, as it turns out, is from Krystyn. Smile

Note: I don't guarantee the accuracy of this data. I threw this together in one hour as I'm rather late to hop in the shower and pack my stuffs. If this gets you horribly lost, don't blame me - but do take comfort in the fact that I'm probably just as lost as you. Smile

(rufo, at the polite request of a few beekeepers, I took down the .pdf, as the hivemeet is now over, and there were phone numbers in the document that I believe weren't meant for public consumption. Great document, though! -k.)

Arg, my tag came out in extra ugly black and white. Well, if you're looking for me, look for the trashy tag.

Gah. Didn't get a chance to print out my lurvely tag... how dissapointing, after spending that entire three-hour meeting photoshopping it. Wink

Ah well. Maybe it was so awesome that folks'll remember the tag and I won't need it. Wink

Well, despite my best efforts (and ingesting enough caffeine to stay awake for the last three days straight) I couldn't get the necessary jump on my homework to be able to take off for the weekend. Looks like I'll have to experience the event through all of the news/pictures that I KNOW everyone will be posting Wink On the plus side, I've already got the entire weekend off so I should be able to get a decent head start on next week's work....ooorr I could play lots of Halo 2.

Have fun, guys!

I am finally in Chicago. Incase any of you did not know, a six and a half hour delay added to a two hour layover is not fun.

I am looking forward to meeting up tomorrow, but it appears that I am lacking in my Hivemeet gear. I have to join skybruin in his cell phonelessness and Rufo in the land of no name tags.

Well, my Hivemeet experince is over. Rolling Eyes

I've successfully implanted Anton P. Nym at his hotel room. and he is now in the windy city! W00t! Nice guy, that Steve. Put up with me constantly looking at my directions and driving like an idiot, hehe...

So again, kids, I SOOOOOO wish I could be there, and I'll still try to make anything I can, but it just doesn't seem possible. So, have a WONDERFUL time, take lotsa pictures (Anton's already promised to load up on Flickriffic glory) and someone, for the love of Pete, sing horrid kareoke and dedicate it to me. Wink (I want a picture, and potentially a video if this happens, BTW Laughing)

Have a great time, and prayers of safety, enjoyment, and oveflowing wallets that don't run dry are comin' your way from the big D-to-the-M!

CoffeeJedi... OMGWTFBBQ!11!!!!1 teh Master Cheif IS HERE IN CHICAOG!! FOR REAL, YO! I'm totaly /-//-\x0Rz!!!!1 (head asplodes w/joy)

Krystyn, don't forget to get lots of scandalous pictures and stories for a cool, trashy article! Twisted Evil

Phaedra: Great job (w/Krystyn, natch) for setting up the events/contacts/website/etc. I wouldn't wish that organization on my worst enemy! Wink

Ok... I've said my peace! Enjoy! I'll miss you all!

I ... somehow ended up with a whole boatload of beekeepers at my house.

Ummm, we have:

Jinxie
Woody
Silrn
INCyr
Ariock
hmrpita
Dasro Kast
Coffee Jedi

... and I think Katamari Damacy might be the official game of Hivemeet 2005. Snacky things and drinky things.

Jinxie toasts, "To good friends."
