[quote="Morgan"]Yes, do NOT trust Brigid. Do not tell/email Brigid. We are not working with her, that would be just like handing him over to Sable and Shuck itself.quote]

yup, I also thought that:

(Something I had written on another forum, something odd with the sister's plea) Here's another theory I've got though: Brigid is in on it with S&S. She says that Marlowe is a friend of hers, and S&S advertise www.helpmefindjon.com wanting you to help Brigid. I think she is in on this. I think that when you find Jon, u have to either give him in to Brigid and S&S and get the money and lose your soul therefore "win" the game in her eyes, or you find Jon, and don't tell b/c you don't wanna turn him in, and basically "lose" the game in Bridid and S&S's eyes but win it in Jon's eyes. Am I making sence?

Winning

No, I'm pretty sure we will have to figure out how to use the Book to defeat S+S. We will not have to turn Jon in-and come on! We're on his side!

I think we can safely split the list of memories into GOOD ones and BAD ones:

Good:
Saturday mornings at the cinema
Xmas with Mum + Dad
Real Fir/Fur trees.
Betamax
Spectrum48k
Loved Jessica, summer + Arsenal
Space Invaders
Choppers
Evil Kneivel

Bad:
Eilean Mor + Veg

Bad / Ambiguous:
Sportsday - he IS a fat boy, so he may not have enjoyed this.
Mr Rickson - did he like this person?
Overcooked cabbage - he might actually like this, though most people don't.
School dinners - ditto.

This may give us a clue as to which memories he gave to S+S

EDIT: Just noticed that if you take all the BAD ones, and make an anagram out of the first letters, you get "Moses".

i dont think we have to look that way, meak.

first of all, if you take childhood memories, why give them only the ones you dont like? doesnt work like that i think

sable will take them all....good and bad memories....(at least i would, if i was sable)

Hmmm, people i know usually refer to the betamax in a negative way, calling it bulky, loud, ugly etc.

i look back fondly on the good old (but crappy) betamax.
It's definitely a good childhood memory for me!

lol, good but crappy.
I cant help but feel we are meant to do something special with the new phone number. The message itself seems like a red herring.

I found this:
Cabbage
Cabbage is one of the oldest known vegetables; there is evidence that cabbage was part of the Chinese diet thousands of years ago. Today, there are many varieties that are harvested at various times of the year and winter brings the Savoy, white, green and red cabbages. Raw, cooked or preserved, the cabbage plays an important role in the cuisines of the Orient and Europe, west and east. This vegetable is packed with vitamins, is high in iron and potassium, and very low in calories. Cabbage is excellent shredded and eaten raw in salads. When cooked, the briefest cooking methods, such as steaming or stir-frying, are best. Apart from red cabbage, which breaks the rule and benefits from long cooking, overcooked cabbage releases sulphur which reminds many of school dinners and is the reason why, for most of us, cabbage was not a childhood favourite...
at http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/in_season/february.shtml

that means the SCH... Dinners is in fact school dinners... no doubt about it... maybe the 'sulpher' part helps us a bit?...

The new phone number 07861328892 must be Brigid's.

She must be the one taking the photo, and therefore when she got it developed, she gave her phone number to the guys developing it.
Hence the phone number is on the back.

Seeing as we get a rather sinister sounding 'you're too late', I think this further backs up the theory that Brigid is in on it with S+S.
