Here was what I sent (admittedly terse) and what I received from the guides once we solved their cryptogram last night. Might have I said more? Probably, but it was really late and I was too exhausted to be creative. =)

Did any of you other mailers get a response?

Follow-up

OK, I see nothing of supreme importance in that mail message. I don't see enough to read into - if you do, by all means, grab the reins.

Instead, I sent another e-mail to the guides with a request for help in breaking Dale out of Klepsydra, and/or if they had any messagse they wish to relay to Dale since he is unable to read the mail that they or their colleagues apparently tried to send him.

Taking a stab

Notice the Italian theme that runs along this? Sons of Don, Codex Seraphinanus in the trailer, and Calvino contributing the name of the city?

I decided to take a shot in the dark, in case they were possibly related. My note to the guides:
