I thought maybe it was only open to residents of the UK at first too, but I had just forgotten my password, so I signed up under a new email address and sumitted the information and got the email. I think that the man in black is posing as brigid harker, and is pretending to be his sister, in order to try and find him.
here's my reasoning:

1. Jon went into hiding in case the man in black found him.
2. Jon makes no mention of having a sister, and she isn't in the family photo, or his childhood memories
3. Brigid is looking for Jon, which would make sense if Brigid was the MIB.
4. In her video, on the reward page, she looks down at something when she says "All this could be yours". Maybe she is looking at her feet...HOOVED feet.
5. Brigid's voice is on the video message, reversed. It is well known that the devil speaks in reverse. Also, a hooved foot appears in shot.

By telling Brigid/MIB where Jon was (Peel Castle), we inadvertently finalaised Jon's deal with S+S. We see them about to shake hands. Remember that it says that you will receive a personal visit from the MIB AFTER you have received your luxury goods. Jon had sold his soul, received the book of star, and then gone into hiding. The MIB needed to find Jon, and so posed as Brigid to make us tell him where Jon was.

I know a lot of this has been said before, but I'm just putting all the pieces logically together.

the phrase "take the process to it's logical conclusion" in my opinion means this:
having found Jon, the MIB/brigid is telling Jon that he must end the deal. That is the logical conclusion. That is the inevitable consequence of selling your soul. However, we do not yet know if Jon actually shook hands. If he HAS decoded the book of star, then he should be able to ward off the MIB/Brigid.

I don't think that there's anything we can do until Jon contacts us again.

Yeah, I was thinking along that line to...

Either that, or it is a practical joke from Jon and Brigid...
It wouldn't surprise me if in the end we find out that Jon and Brigid are in fact married.

What if they thought out this whole story together?
Remember that Jon is a Website Designer/Builder
He could easily have build all the so called In-Game sites himself.
And I can't help thinking that Brigid has trouble not to start laughing in her so called "cry for help" video's. At least, after I watched them more than once that was the impression I got.

But I guess we'll just have to be patient and wait to see where this story takes us next.

I apologize profusely for asking this question, as I totally could have missed the information on the Book of Star. I did a search, but....

As far as I know Jon was working with a copy of the Book of Star and not the original, please correct me if I am wrong.

Could this mean we need to help him find the original? Maybe that is why he needed to know where the aleph meets the star?

You are correct, until of course the moment when Jon found the ORIGINAL Book of Star. That's what his Inferno Cargo receipt is for, trip to Hilbert's, to find the Book of Star.
Basically;
Jon knew that his copy of the book wasn't good enough to defeat the MIB, so he sold his soul to S+S and in return got a trip to Hilbert's. He then had to escape form Hilbert's and go into hiding to give him time to decode the Book of Star before the MIB came to find him and finish the deal.

That's what all the stuff in his journal is about up until November. By December he had returned with the original book. While reading it, he got stuck on where the aleph meets the star, and asked us to help.

The story picks up again, because we now know that the MIB has found Jon, but we still don't know if Jon has read the Book of Star enough to be able to defaet him.

I think the deal Jon made is twofold:
-For his "natural life" option, he sold his Childhood Memories as Soul Derivative in return for "Service Options", as stated in his receipt. Which means "Love, lust and debauchery" equals "a roll in the hay" (equals "Bridgid" is what I suspect, but cannot prove yet. Would make the story a bit juicier though).
-For his "unnatural life" option, he sold (the rest of...) his Soul in return for Aeronautic Options; a trip to Hilberts in one of those Magus Portal powered jets. Strange that this is not on his receipt. He did get the book and managed to escape.
Jon is indeed in hiding so the contract can not be fulfilled by MIB. Where can one hide from the devil? Either by going where the butterflies are or by being on Sacred ground. Ingame references to church: "Hornchurch" and the "church-key" bottle opener (possibly).
He figured out by the table in the IC site, that he would receive his "Flight and Travel" commodity in "6" time-units, while his "Love, lust and debauchery" option would take "27" time-units to be delivered.
