The load screen in the hiding room COULD resemble a zodiacal sign.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.njrs.nl/sterrenbeelden/zuidervis.jpg - rotate 180° and mirror it horizontally. It's the PISCIC AUSTRINUS, located close to Sagittarius, which refers to the horoscope section at HCS...

I'm afraid the constellation on the load page is Capricornus, not Piscis Austrinus:

And this has been discussed twice in the Hiding Room thread: here and here .
While we appreciate your attention to detail on the game sites, we would like you to pay equal attention to the threads. If for some reason you are unable to read through all of them, spend 5 minutes using the search feature. If you can't find anything after that 5 minutes, then feel free to post.
Think of it this way: If we all took 5 minutes to search before posting, then we might have time to read all the posts in the threads because they would be cut down by 50%.

mkay, sorry 'bout the swiftness of my posting.
I've been reading all evening and my eyes got kinda blurry
ANYWAY, any idea about the ads? Or is it just another nifty inner-connection that leads nowhere

Again, Sven, this is something that has been talked about before. In fact, it was how many of us got into the game- they were in mags in the UK and gave us links to sites such as HWAU and S+S.

It's ok, welcome aboard! It might be worth having a read of some of the longer threads so that you're up to speed- unforunately for a lot of people new to this the game's been going for months now so there is a lot of facts and speculation to catch up on!

i subsribed to the stellascreen.co.uk and i searched the site for more clues..... what i found is that the movie "chaos" gets strikingly close to this game.....
Quote:
A labyrinthine thriller from the acclaimed director of Ring, Chaos begins with a Japanese businessman learning that his wife has been kidnapped. However as the plot twists and turns, it becomes clear that all is not as it seems, for the kidnap is revealed to be fake and has been undertaken for a wholly unexpected purpose....
As complicated as it is dark, Chaos is not an easy film to watch and will certainly benefit from repeat viewings. However, Chaos is perfectly plotted and undeniably clever, and due to the best use of an unreliable flashback since Argento's Tenebrae, it's cultstatus seems assured
-why would stella artois praise a 5 year old movie?
according to SA the release date is 22/10/2004 and on this website it is released in 1999 http://www.kino.com/video/item.php?film_id=585
-in a brandnew campaign? why arent there any comments given?
*because you cant give reviews, at least, i cant and im logged in there!
-what is the purpose for signing up on that website, except get lots of junkmail, if you cant interact with it?
- Why do "old boy" and "chaos" have the same pic?

the broken links behind adds in Hornchurch Star About the broken links behind adds in Hornchurch Star...
Did anyone else notice that there are 2 different "errorPage.php"-pages (looks a bit like ie-404-errorpages)
The banner-add (top-middle) to advertise in Hornchurch Star links to http://www.hornchurchstar.com/errorPage.php
So does the Antiques-add, the Butterfly-collectors-add and the office furniture-add.
But the MONEY WORRIES???-add links to an almost identical errorPage.php located at http://www.goldenfuturesandoptions.com/errorPage.php
This one has a link to marlowedigital.com
Maybe that's the only reason - to give the link to marlowe digital.
It just seems to me that there might be something here we're overlooking.
The error-page message says
The page that you are looking for does not exist in this world. We cannot tell
if the host sites are experiencing technical difficulties or not, but you may need
to adjust the dimensional settings on your browser.
in both cases... what does this mean?
What kind of "dimensional adjustment" could be changed in a browser?
I don't know enough about browsers to tell... but I'm sure someone else reading these pages does.
I tried Mozilla Firefox - far out... I know... but fire is one of the signs, right? - but no significant change in appearance of the error-pages.
Would be sooooo clever if the PM (Puppet Master) created a special in-game browser/viewer that would show stuff on the pages that cannot be seen in ie/opera/mozilla/whatever...
Just doesn't fit into the rest of the game to have broken links, does it?
They must be there for a reason.
I might be waaaaay off track here... you tell me *lol*
