Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The Twelve congratulates you on finally solving the riddle.

You have assisted us in unlocking the Fourth Key. This is well
deserved on your part.

Attached are two files. The sigil for the Fourth Key as well as a
package which will greatly assist you in your next task; unlocking the
Fifth Key.

Good luck, young Acolyte.

The Twelve

The package is 55555.zip which contains the folder 55555 and four .wav files: we, are, waiting, now.

Well, I reversed the "are" file. I also inverted it.

It's sort of intelligible. The end sounds like "take the answers...send the [them?] signs."

I played with we.wav. This is slowed down 60%, reversed, and higher pitch.

these are the sacred... won? ... this might have happened? this rainbow mirror is only natural... by its green god?

On second thought, I'm probably hearing it wrong... if I played with the file right at all.

I'm trying on the we.wav file too. And for me it sounds like "The second sigil.... its rainbow... is only matched by its/his green ..."

We now have four sigils, do we? The fourth one was sent to us by the twelve. Maybe we have to do something with them now, because in their mail they tell us to.

waiting.wav slowed down, changed pitch, inversed.

The first one's Christmas... and the humble peasant... I should imagine its sudden looks... could not be quite pleasant.

Hm, I can't make out the first half of 'we' either. The end definitely sounds like 'this rainbow mirror is only matched... by its green cup'.

Silverthistle. For now2.wav it is:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

You seek the answers to the puzzle,
to release our master's nizzle.
My cryptic words you shall heed:
Adramalech's lists are sacred to him,
learn their names with vast speed,
or your fate will turn so grim.

Hope that helps Smile (and no, I don't get the nizzle part.)
Edit:
Phaedra - your arereversedinverted.mp3 gives me the following. Words in parentheses where I'm not sure if they are echoes of if I'm unsure of the words:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

(You) sit there.
(You) Find (them)
(of) the cryptic (crime)
Take the answers, send them. Then comes the next sign.

Note - "them" might be something else. It almost sounds like a word with an "s" on the end?

Edit 2: From Silverthistle's waiting.wav I get a few differences (by the way - sorry for the spoiler tags, but I haven't been following the ARG and didn't know if it was appropriate or not Wink)
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The first one is at mass for the humble peasant.
I should imagine its suddens looks could not be quite (present).

The word present may be "pleasant" (which might make more sense), but I don't know if that is really an "pl" sound or "pr".

Edit 3: The we.wav is tricky. Here's my guess:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

The second (sacred) this is one
Not the (wind), despite the (fap).
Its rainbow mirror is only matched by its green cup.

Now, "wind" might be "win", and "fap" seems nonsensical to me... even though it sounds like it is a "p", maybe it is "fact"?

Okay, no more edits to this post!

Oh, since I promised no more edits to the post above, the we.wav might not have "despite the fap". It may be more like "this artifact"?

I don't know. Hope I was some help anyway Smile

Edit: (Bad habit, this)
Uh, for waiting.wav I obviously meant "sudden" not "suddens".
And on re-listening, I believe we.wav should be "...flap..." for the second line, not "fap".

Ahem. Embarassed

Finally! Now I can be of some actual help lol.

Right, for the now.wav, this is what it is 100% certain:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

You seek the answers to the puzzle,
to release our master's NUZZLE. (As in bonds, chains, restriction, prison)
My cryptic words you shall heed:
Adramalech's BEASTS are sacred to him,
learn their names with vast speed,
or your fate will turn so grim.

What we are looking for are names of animals. I'm 100% certain on this.

I also updated the wiki to our current situation.

The LiveJournal community was updated!

ROTed text:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

We wish you the best of luck in discovering the answers to the next Key.

And yes... It was our Master who brought this site down. he is indeed displaying his growing strength and hold over this world.

Praise Adramelech!

What are we supposed to think about that??

If Gestas' transcript of we.wav is correct then the second animal is some kind of bird

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
...Not the (wind), despite the (fap).
Its rainbow mirror is only matched by its green cup.

If cup is cap (it sounds like that to me) then this is some bird with a green head (or cap, duh). Parrot of some sort? -bah, I don't know these are just random speculations.

The problem is, I've been listening and re-listening, and I don't think I'm right now Smile I've left the post as-is, so we can get comments on what others hear and try to achieve a general consensus.

I've got three versions of we.wav (the two posted above, and one I modified myself), and the modifications change what words I hear.

I think with a puzzle like this we have some factors coming into play:
1) Different people have different phoneme biases due to their country of origin - so we will all hear different things when the original soundfiles are as unclear as they are.
2) Modifications of the sound files (such as pitch and tempo corrections or echo additions to "smooth" the voice out) will alter the apparent phonemes, since some phonemes are very close to eachother. E.g. Pleasant confused with present Smile

The two which are easiest, are.wav and now.wav also appear to be "empty" files - they don't appear to be puzzles... are.wav doesn't seem to tell us anything we didn't know (ie. figure out the puzzles, send the answers in)?

We.wav - the only line that is beyond doubt is the:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

Its rainbow mirror is only matched by its green cup/cap.

I think the first line(s) are open to a lot of interpretation - the only indisputable bit is "...is one..." and even this could be "...is won..."!

Waiting.wav is similar. At present I think we can agree on the following:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The first one is ??? for the humble peasant.
I should imagine its suddens looks could not be quite pleasant/present.

But the ??? might be Christmas/at mass/something else. I have heard kwat-mass and patnass- Not that those mean anything Rolling Eyes

I think these may be tough without hints Very Happy

After driving my roomates nuts for the last 2 hours, here's what I'm hearing in them so far:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
we.wav

The sacredness is one
not with new
it's not the fap
His rainbow hair
is only matched by its own cap

are.wav

so there you will find the cryptic prime
take the answers send them then comes the next sign

now.wav

you seek answers to the puzzle
to release the master's muzzle
my cryptic words you shall heed
which [are malicious lists]??? are sacred to him
learn their names with fast speed
or your fate will turn so grim

waiting.wav

the first ones were just unpleasant
I should imagine some of the books
will not be quite present
