i got the good email, but to get it, i dont have a clue....it is certainly not random, because i entered several locations in hmfj.com

i entered

peel castle, isle of man
peel castle, england
templars chapel, rosslyn
templars chapel, england...
my own adress, holland

i got multiple "thank yous" from brigid, but only 1 email about the reward...

so, that is weird

Much as it would suck if they game ended now, it would be the most logically consistent ending. We strongly suspected Brigid was a baddie, there was evidence to support it, and then we told her where Jon was anyway. Not just one rogue player - a whole bunch of us did!

So Jon is in S&S's hands. He won't be updating his sites, then, I suppose. As the old saying goes, "you've made your bed, and now you have to lie in it." Game over?

Now that's what I call 'realism.'

Well, but as I see it, even if they are in the same location as him ( if Brigid is indeed a baddie, she may have lied to us about having met him, but is still searching the area ):
Whatever source you take, there is, I think, not a single banishing-ritual, that doesn't need the presence of the creature to be banished.

So, if she's on our side...good, if she's on shuck's side and lied to us about the meeting...also quite nice. If she met him and waits for shuck to arrive, maybe not the best, but a chance to turn out good. If she had killed him or taken his soul, she wouldn't have contacted us this way. I assume she had written a more sarcastic mail of thanks about our efforts in helping shuck to find him.

wait

all we can do is wait i think. can't believe we missed anything. hopefully jon finds a way to contact us again. maybe he prepared for the worst and installed an automatic message, in case he would be caught.

hang on a minute..... Jon's NOT dead.

he gets to live for the rest of his natural life, and only then does his soul go to hell.

he can easily contact us/fill in his journal again

I do think we have to continu our search fo the book of star...

I still think that if we find a new password for the safe or cache, the second book will appear to be the book of star (created by Jon ofcourse), or at least give us the info that is in the book of star. But yeah d*mn... I know it's easy to say things like this since I do not have a clue where to look or search either...

It's good that things are going this fast lately, that's better than waiting all day, nut we do not seem to make any progress...

Oh, I agree. And he sent the text message that he knew they were there, so he would have been prepared for a confrontation.

He also had time to study the Book of Star and he was aware of the Moodly Doo, so we should not give up yet!

He was not caught off guard.

Maybe in a weird way Jon was the baddie for interfering. Good and Evil are meant to be in balance with each other. Jon tried to alter the scales and deserved to be punished. At least that is one way to look at it. Hmm, i dunno.

Suck, but he's right.

Yeah, sadly I kind of agree with GuyP.
It wasn't just one rogue player, or a split off of players that told Brigid where Jon was-just about everybody did it once the first people said they got a response.

So it would be logical for the PMs to assume we just went over to teh evil.

As much as that would horribly, horribly suck.

I have an idea. Maybe not a good one, but an idea.

What if we were to take the message on the mezzaine door literally and think "harder" ------as in stone? Maybe Jon needs the stone of destiny or something similar.

"2. The center of the Ariat Grid is immediately offshore from the Isle of Man. The Isle of Man is the primary Arthurian (Grail King/Queen) center:
Merlin was born there and Arthur built Camelot there, ostensibly in the Peel area. The site was established by the priests of Ruta before Atlantis sank.
The ROUND TABLE had a fragment of the Stone of Destiny under it as a primary power source. "

Um, the Isle of Man isnt the basis for where Camelot is believed to be. Amost all experts are agreed it is the ruins of Tintagel Castle, Tintagel in Cornwall. There are many other castle rumoured to be from King Arthur's time, several in Wales. Ive been interested in Arthurian Legend for many years, and have visited most of the places reported to be his castles. Only once or twice before had i heard speculation of Peel Castle, and there are historical contradictions which show it probably isnt Peel Castle.

I took that quote from the same webpage that we found where the aleph meets the star.
