Just did a spot of WHOISing, I think I may have punched a hole in the curtain, I got a snail-mail address too...

EDIT: A further WHOIS showed up the home page for Realworldgaming... I don't think I'll go any further in this direction, I think it's behind the curtain.

Alright, the E-mail and variations of it bounced, I was fooled. There is a shred of information we can speculate on, so here is the DNS lookup report:

I just got something else, I'm on a roll! No, I don't think this is coincidence, and I know someone stegged the picture before me and came up with nothing but I used Word and double checked in Wordpad. The first line of the image code definitely has the word Adobe (obviously deriving from the palce where the image was created) and the word "Ducky". Ducky is spelt differently to the way Syn spells it as Sarah's nickname, but honestly, this word stands out like a sore thumb - try it yourself. I'm not sure if this means anything, but I thought i would report.

EDIT: Wasn't 'Ducky' a trojan exploit in Jpeg images?

stegdetect with a minimum sensitivity of 1.8 gives a jphide(*) result. I'm no expert on stegdetect, but that's a fairly low sensitivity to be detecting something, isn't it? I tried jpseek with no passphrase, but that doesn't work. Passphrase guessing time?

Also, the game has a webpage! It's sent a package to argn! It so needs its own forum now. Please, admins?

great solve sara, thats what I get for going to sleep, im trying to give that whole sleep thing up.

I just checked wikipedia to see if I could figure out who the woman in the middle is since it appears to be a real window. Best guesses right now are Catherine of Siena and St. Marie of the Incarnation. (although I dont know if the original window had signs of the stigmata. Also wounds in the hands are the first sign of stigmata making me believe that this sight may update several times. Next would be wounds in the feet.

The two side images, the statues, are indeed... Ecclesia and Synagoga. The statues are part of the south portal of the Strasbourg cathedral:

Still working on the central image. It may be Caterina da Siena, or Santa Francesca Romana or somebody else, but since the stigmata apparently have been added in photoshop, it's hard to tell if this is relevant.

I think the stigmata explain all the blood in the package, though I don't see how it is a "package of death." If Cle sent it, though, its pretty likely that she's the one with the crucified hands-- we will have to ask Syn if she notices anything about Cle's hands.

I think that the clue was: This is what happens when you go against the will of god... which got me thinking, this is what happens when you go *to*againstthewillofgod.

As nothing is happening on that site-- and as it has been up since November (a hint, at least, that the game was planned)-- I don't see anything "happening" or how it is only the first clue to 'viewing the world through the eyes of Cle'

But I guess we just need to tell them we found it and wait for the next hint....

I found the original window. It's from Mexico City, apparently. I have to go to class now and so can't work out now who the woman is. Heh, that needs to be done when I get back!

On the bottom it says in Spanish, "to know in order to foresee...to foresee in order to [do work?]"

[edit]not only is it the same window, but it appears to be the exact source image. The stigmata were photoshopped.

The "Salve" writing suggests that this may be the Virgin Mary, I'll see if this can be confirmed.
