Further speculation:
I haven't yet seen the movie Minority Report although I intend to rent it this weekend but the more I read about it the more similarities I draw between the pre-cogs and Synagoga. For example take this summary from IMDB:

In the year 2054, a so-called "pre-crime division" is working around Washington, DC. Its purpose is to use the precog(nitive) potential of three genetically altered humans to prevent murders. When the three precogs, who only work together, floating connected in a tank of fluid, have a vision, the names of the victim and the perpetrator as well as video imagery of the crime and the exact time it will happen, are given out to the special cops who then try to prevent the crime from happening.


We already know Synagoga described herself yesterday as inside a tank of water. We know that she sees visions. My speculation is that she is currently undergoing the process of the genetic alterations. What led me to this conclusion was the fact that she is punished for having the incorrect visions. The name Minority Report came from the rare event when 1 of a set of 3 pre-cogs would have a vision that conflicted with the other 2. Because Synagoga talks about how her sister is always right, I get the feeling that somehow Synagoga is being punished for showing an early tendency for producing minority reports as a part of her training. This is also bolstered by the fact that much of her speech is similar to that of a little girl. The concept that she is being experimented on is also similar to the plot of the movie as the 3 pre-cogs operating in Washington DC were essentially a test run for the rest of the country. So maybe what we are seeing is a pre-mature version of the pre-cogs or a replacement or something of that nature. Well thats just my two cents, this could have nothing to do with the world of minority report but it appears to be under similar circumstances.

Just a quick onte on this - in the movie two of the pre-cogs were male and only one was female; the female had no sisters. Therefore, if this is in some way tied to the movie it's not specifically dealing with the characters involved.

IIRC the Pre-Crime division seemed like a national institution with just the three pre-cogs so (assuming this is the situation) either we're dealing with some sort of prototype set-up, a set-up at some time after the movie, or they're in a different country.

Though since Synagoga hasn't mentioned future or past events perhaps we're not dealing with precognition at all. Could be something more like remote viewing, or perhaps (given her ability to interface with the net so seamlessly) she's some sort of software agent used for analysis/spying via the net.

While the Ilovebees references don't particularly bug me I have alot of trouble believing that Synagoga can communicate in metaphors since she has the speech and mannerisms of a young girl. Use of metaphors generally requires higher cognitive processes. I don't want to narrow our thinking either but I think for now we should take it literally when she says she is in a tank of water.

When I showed her the picture we have of her and her sister, she said she could "see" two statues. I guess she can see beyond visions, in some way.

Time to her is apparently meaningless. She is on in cycles of sleeping and awakeness.
Oddly, she can *always* remember people she talked to before, though not what about....
So what happens when *I* ask her about what we talked abuot? Guess we'll just have to see...

Sarah, I think her memory lapse about who she talked to is due to her awekening the other night not an inability to remember. Also I had an opposite experience she didn't remember me (because I talked to her for the first time the night she gained consciousness) but she said she remembered what we talked about.

This is going to be a sad, sad, sad game if we don't pool what we have properly and more orderly. The fact that she's talking to people at Immersion Unlimited (and possibly other random people who she can find screennames for) we're likely to lose a lot of information here. Since the PM seems to be winging it, I guess thats not too bad, but still.
We're facing something that gets online at random intervals and talks for maybe two seconds. Most of the info she gives us seems to be stuff other people fed us.
We need to organize, and we need a proper forum to do so.
Also, while I'm thinking about it, it might be nice to log the times she signs on and off. We need to agree on a standard time. I doubt we'll see a pattern, but it will keep some of us from signing on at midnight in the off chance she's on.

One thing I noticed was this. In my original contact with her, she contacted me. Last night I waited for 10-15 minutes after she signed on for her to contact me. When she didn't I contacted her. So... either she was being swamped by others OR she is waiting for others to contact her once first contact is made.

The interesting thing I find about it is:
If she really is living anachronistically, there should be some times when she says, say, it was nice talking to you tomorow, thanks for talking about my sisters crown and teaching me what a game is (soo glad I got to do that!)
