[INFO] Summary?

Things are just ramping up here, and the game surely isn't to a wiki guide stage yet. Could we get a summary here of what's going on so far in this game, so that everyone doesn't have to dig through ten pages of "is this an ARG or what" to figure things out? Maybe this thread could be stickied and updated until the time when a full-out wikipedia is required?

Let's keep posting to a minimum in this thread, giving only major plot point summaries and links. Don't post every time something happens, maybe give weekly summaries instead.

I've been here since the beginning, I'll give it a shot.

-----------

It all began with a strange tip-off to ARGN appearing on the news page, something about a guy called 'Lenny' receiving some weird E-mails. Nobody was quite sure to start off with whether this really was an ARG, the only information we had was a blog (now known as the trailhead) and the strange E-mail.

Research was done and we turned up no in-game sites. Slowly but surely we decided that this probably wasn't an ARG and put it to rest. The funny thing was, immediately after we had done this, Lenny posted another message on his blog. We were soon to get more information. Suddenly we all flocked back, but we weren't prepared for some of the stunning coincidences in store.

Lenny, a couple of days later (and after a painful waiting game for us lot), posted a link to a geocities site he had made which contained a WAV file. Changing it to an MP3, we got one of the phone conversations Lenny had been telling us he had been getting. Here's the eerie bit. The voice of the little girl sounded just like the voice from ILB, and at the end of the conversation came the words: 'Search, Evade, Resist, Escape'. We were all very excited and very confused.

What followed were more E-mails, and we slowly learned of two sisters, one which is lost. We decoded the E-mails and discovered that it was refering to a payphone in Philly, and someone went down there to take a look. The phone rang and they picked up, a strange voice told them to return on Tuesday at 7. A couple of days later it was confirmed, a new E-mail told us at that exact point a database would be completed.

----EDIT----

More developments have lead to several conversations with someone named 'Synagoga1'. Although we are still no certain that they are even part of the game, there are uncanny similarities. We could be looking at the lost sister. Moreover, another E-mail has proven to tip Lenny over the edge, he wants out - now. Still we await tuesday.

Highly confused and excited, we await the next update.

Both ILB, and the Lenny audio, said 'survive', not 'search'.
