For those who haven't heard, Bill has created a puzzle trail based on the entries received in the puzzle contest.

From Deaddrop

Quote:
bill writes "Thanks to everyone who participated! As promised, the contest was open until January 31. To make things a bit more fun, I've assembled a puzzle trail of the entries. You'll find the winners at the end of the trail.

In total, we had 15 puzzles submitted. Of the 15, I recognized one puzzle as the overall winner. The puzzles were so good, I am also declaring two runner ups that deserve honorable mention.

Of course, you won't see these gems on the trail, you'll see them in an upcoming game with full credits to be divulged for these three at the conclusion of that (or those) games.

Until then, enjoy the trail!"

We are currently dicussing the trail in #ddtrail on chat-sol - so come and join us. And thanks to all of the creators of these puzzles for entering the contest and congratulations to the winners (whoever you might be).

1 puzzle down

We finally got the first puzzle. Thanks to Kender for finally putting it all together and saying it first in #ddtrail.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you read the letters diagonally, starting with T, it spells out "THIS IS NOT A GAME" but http://deaddrop.us/contests/thisisnotagame.php tells you This Is Not The Answer.

The actual answer is the acronym we all know so well: http://deaddrop.us/contests/tinag.php

Next up: a picture of the Bubble Tea Cafe

...squeeze my lemon...

I've done okay with the first two, although I couldn't read the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Please in the "please help me.

I'm stumped on what to do with picture 3 and need some ideas.
There is a

dog (some kind of spaniel maybe)
helicopter
car (looks like a micro machine or a zip-zap)
two fingers (severed?)
and a sketch of a small reptillian creature (frog or toad or...) in a robe. (Maybe the frog prince?)

All contained in a clay pot???

Do they have something in common?

clues

The dog picture reminds me of the puzzle that had images of all the dogs from Acheron. It also had a helicopter.

Could each of these be a clue that was in a puzzle from a previous game?

Did you notice the woman's face (possibly a man's too) in the sketch with the reptile (frog, whatever it is)? Could just be a trick of the folds in the robe, but I don't know...

That was my puzzle! =) And it had a Harrier jet not a helicopter.

I see pigs in a blanket in the lower right hand corner, or else someone's circumcision has a little too much smegma in it. Or possibly corndogs.

Is that a german shorthaired pointer? I can't find the image google for it...

background

I managed to find the background is a small checkerboard pattern - by changing the transparency. I can't find a format that supports the transparency so I can't reproduce the image here.

After trying a few things I tried stating the obvious and went to http://deaddrop.us/contests/pink.php - gives the message "hot".

http://deaddrop.us/contests/hotpink.php gives the message "hotter", but that's as far as I got.

EDIT -

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I don't think so: Titled Deaddrop Puzzle Contest 1.03

??????????
From a reliable source: Bill's Amazing Journey

Bill is a nice guy, but somehow he ended up being in trouble anyway. He decided to leave town for a while.

Time was running out, so he jumped over the fence to get on the southwest tracks.

He followed these tracks for a long time, without even getting lost once!

At the end of the tracks he found a place where they have very strict rules, so he decided to play with prejudice.

After a while things had cooled down again. So Bill got a ticket from RTM and headed back home to the USA.

There he lived happily ever after.
