Cool, more weird AIMs! I'm torn in two over this one, it seems ARGy in a way, for example the drinking thing had an untruthful aura around it (you could tell he was making stuff up), but on the other hand it could well be an obscure RL event. Maybe one of us should pose as the hacker

I'm on AIM express, so I can't cut and paste, but I said I was Sarah Kiddo, and unrelated to the other people IMing him.... I don't think he bought it. He asked if I was with AHA, and then said he was shutting down the computer. Which he didn't since he just posted an away message.

I just have this mental picture that none of this is part of an ARG, that we've stumbled upon something that's entirely mundane. I mean, this Sam guy could have been a Beekeeper that just made a simple mistake. Thus, everything would make sense. Too funny.

So, does March 14th sound a lot like February 9th?

I was kind of thinking that too, but, as hkdl put it last night, would a normal person really react this way to having strange people IMing them all the time? Most people would just sign off. Instead, Albrecht's IM account was logged on, even when he was supposed to be in Mexico.

Hello all!

I only stumbled into the ARG world a few days ago, through news of the Still Life ARG. I remember playing some of Majestic and thinking how great it was. I am fascinated with this stuff! I am zero good at maths and sciencey stuff but I love reading along with the stories and I hope I might be of some use.

Anyway, I have been following this and the Syn thread and today I got to talk to one of Wasser's other grad students, Tom. I nearly gave myself away but he seemed pretty unintrusive so let me off lightly, therefore I apologise if my questioning isn't great. Being new at this I kept it light, but it might help to know he has more students using his office.
