The Official I <3 RedVsBlue Thread It's about time we had one of these.
The latest episode, # 49, is FANTASTIC!
Marathon never looked so funny!
Quote:
Terminal in Marathon: This is the housing facility for the Great Weapon. I am the Keeper of the Great Weapon.
You are the Great Destroyer. You will demolish this facility, kill me, steal the Great Weapon,
and bring about the Great Doom for billions of people.
Welcome! How may I be of assistance?
Quote:
Grif: Yeah, i'm bored. I want to stop doing whatever it is i'm pretending to be doing.
Quote:
Church: Caboose, is that you? Can you hear me?
Caboose: Church, I can hear you! Can you hear me?
Church: Caboose, is that you? Can you hear me?
Caboose: Church, I can hear you! How are you?
Simmons: Uh, I think it might be a recording.
(Caboose, is that you? Can you hear me?)
Grif: Quiet! I wanna see how long this lasts!
Caboose: Church, I can hear you! Do you miss me?
So many classic lines in every episode! I love it.

Its funny though, because that means that Tucker and Griff represent Wagners idea of "man-as-potato-salad" in that they breshew the id in favor of a more classical approach towards existance.
As for Caboose: well, he's just an idiot.

Alright, to avoid a pure quote thread, perhaps we can talk about what might happen in Episode 50.
Will the bomb go off? Is it even possible that Caboose armed it correctly?
Where in the heck did Lopez' head go? Does he still have the weather control aspect?
Bomb+Weather Control = Time bomb, remember...

Sometimes their humor can be a bit juvenile, or labored, some of it is pure genius and their comedic timing is absolutely fantastic. Has the Strangerhood gotten more amusing? I watched the first 3 episodes or so and didnt really like it at all.

There really isn't nearly enough psychoanalyzing of red vs blue.

Same here. Doesn't seem to really be RT's style at all. I really expected alot more out of them. I really do hope it picks up, but I'm not going to stick around to find out.
RvB on the other hand is freakin' awesome!!! The latest episode is definitely my favorite so far.

I think Strangerhood has been hurt by a much slower release schedule too. The shorts feel like the RvB crew really isn't giving them their all - really sub-standard. There's a chuckle or two in each one, but that's about it. And having the mouths not sync with the dialog makes it seem overall less professional, even if it couldn't be avoided.

I think Caboose is the best character. He cracks me up. They could have the show with out him, but he just makes it soo much better.

You know, I've only seen about 3 RvB episodes, but when I someday manage to catch up (from what I've seen, I'm strongly considering ordering the first season DVD), I promise you I will psychoanalyze them ridiculously for your amusement.
Although CoffeeJedi probably does it much better than I would.

I love redvsblue. I haven't gotten a chance yet to watch the latest episode yet, which is sad since I'm a sponsor, and therefore should technically be one of the first to watch the episode. Le sigh.
