 		Sarah's Super Synagoga Syna-guide
Well, I've been out of the game for some time, what with 1AM chats and puzzles. I've seen quite a few people here asking what it's all about [so listen to my reply, the things, you say..... erm, nevermind] so I decided to whip up a little guide that I hope will wrap you up.
It's kinda annoying to read through four chats you missed and try to pick out the important information, and since I haven't been thourough with those, please correct me if I make mistakes, or if you have anything to add.
Some of the information here is a repeat of the sticky Website Trail (thanks to latecomer!) I decided to put some of that info here as well.

And now, without further ado.... Sarah's Super Synagoga Syna-guide!

1) In the Beginning...:
It all started when HKDL, a member of the forums, recieved a mysterious IM from someone with the screenname Synagoga1. Over the course of a few days, several people talked to this person, who went by Synagoga. Because she fit the profile of someone in another ARG, Lenny's Xanga, many of our first conversations ask her about sisters, strange phonecalls, and other ilovebees related topics.
In our first conversations, we learned that Synagoga, or Syn as we had come to call her, was talking about religion and God; voices that commanded her to do things (she calls the voices "they" or "them"); and someone she knew called Eccleastia (it took her a long time to get the spelling right).
Thus our first speculations dealt with the archetypal Synagoga and Eccleastia (which you can read more about here, or do a google search of "ecclesia" and "synagoga")
They are two figures; Ecclesia, or Eccleastia, (we call her Cle, or Clea) represents the Christian church, and is depicted with a crown; Synagoga (or Syn) is depicted as blindfolded.
In these chats, we learned that Syn was indeed blind, which led to speculation and some serious debate about what a religious ARG might mean for anyone on the side of whichever religion is the "bad guy" of the ARG. Thus, with a bit of a rocky start, the unsure ARG took its first steps into play.

2) Kittens and websites and blood, oh my!
Meanwhile, a player by the name grahukantar was recieving emails from someone claiming to be Eccleastia. She told him that a package was on its way, that would be recieved by our leader, and would test us; if we passed the test, we could see through her eyes and discover the truth.
It arrived at the ARGn offices, and you can see the photos vpisteve took of this on the ninth page of the topic "[Synagoga] Weird AIM conversation..possible ARG?"
It featured a bloody urn with a peice of paper, on which was written "This is what happens when you go AGAINST THE WILL OF GOD." we were confused for a while, but then yours truly figured it might have something to do with a webpage. After trying a few vatiations of the words on the note, and a few variations on .com, .net, etc, I had discovered the trailhead:

Meanwhile, more people had contacted Syn, and she started giving us nicknames (please see Thread "Nicknames," and place yours once you get one) We also gave her a nickname, Anastasia, a Russian princess.
After a few more chats, I once again was playing aroud with webpages and discovered:

which led people to try
www.againstthewillofgod.com/eccleastia

At this point, you are better off using the sticky guide for the website trail, and the [Puzzle] againstthewillofgod thread to figure out the various clues that led us to each page.

After an agonizing puzzle involving multiple versions of a speech, we discovered www.againstthewillofgod.com/chaton
At that point, it was a *blank page*, but had a time scheduled in greek: 10pm

At 10 PM (Pacific time... one am my time) Syn invited everyone to a chat ON AIM! (NOT in the unforums chatroom, #synagoga) At the same time, /chaton was mysteriously updated... with a picture of a duck.
This struck me as odd, seeing as my nickname was duckie; low and behold, the link opened /duckie, which had a transcript of a conversation I had with Syn in the corner.
Curiouser and Curiouser....

3) And then there were logs...
every day at 10 pm, the /chaton page is updated with a new picture relating to a nickname. In order, they have been:
/duckie
/reel
/librarian
/ace
/nature
/alphabet
/raven
/hiker
* Note: each of these are pictures on /chaton. they do NOT appear in order (i.e., the picture for librarian is not in /duckie, but also on /chaton)

solving the puzzles on each nickname page results in a log, a file saved by Syn.

This guide is by no means complete: we most certainly need a character guide, some topics on how Syn went from being a mythical woman to being what we think is a cyborg, and how the characters relate...

 		hey sarah i was lookin throught your super syna guide (creative name might i add) and i looked throught the link and im sorry if this is old or something but on the chaton link the following words are there.....

Tony - I have the right. I am her creator. I have all the right in the world...

its a big old argument btween tony and someone else and im guesising tony is "him" but who exactly the heck is tony?????

 		Heh heh, this is such a typical Sarah think to do! Nice write up and nice name (like the alliteration - heh, you can tell I'm a literature student :p). Perhaps you could include a large list of nicknames, I'm fed up of going through pages upon pages to try and find out who the latest puzzle belongs to. Cool synopsis!

 		Hi baseball.

It was a bit mindblowing. In the AIM chat, Eccleastia was responding to the chat on the web page itself. It was updating every couple of seconds. You will wan tto go back to the chat log itself, and see the responses matched up, I forget which. It was a wild night....
