my guess is that the "aairmover" is another word play used as a signature...
that is,
a air mover == a fan
Hmm. I think you are probably right, but I'm still wondering about those pictures...

Guys,
This site is definitely out of game, and probably created by the same breed who put the cube on eBay. Please take it with a pinch of salt, and don't waste too much time trying to figure out that anagram. I've been trying to get the whois info, but it must be so freshly registered that the whois server hasn't got a record for it yet.
Diffrent host (Hostway), Diffrent DNS registrar (Hostway again).... most defo diff people

I think with the fact that the binary says "TYPO" etc... that this was probably put up by the PMs to save us from wasting too much time worrying about this rather than being put up by someone else. Though those pictures looking kinda interesting. Sorta reminiscent of the pictures you get on default webpages. Random people, trees, strange light effects... that sort of thing.

I haven't done any research into this, but if the PMs just put this up for damage control they may have just gone for something cheap that didn't need to be as reliable or feature filled as the servers for the main in-game sites. That could explain the different providers.
Of course, we'll never really know until the game is over, so there's not much point debating it.

I had figured it was put up by a pm under the nickname of a. airmover (love the fan bit). the typo sez exactly what it is. If it was a FAN site, it would have either duplicated or gone somewhere else, and would not have the code for typo. Thats still a hoot. And since the name was mis-spelled in some ads, people prolly went directly for it.
Which means that perlplexity is exactly that, a typo, not a clue. ..

The Fan thing pretty much makes it clear that it's definitely out of game. This also explains the fact that the codes for NOT IN GAME and FAN were so easy to decode.

Every domain so far has been registered with GoDaddy... why use a webhosting provider to register this one domain...thats why i suspect

Like I said, I hadn't done any research, and hadn't actaully looked into how the main domains were registered.

Should we assume it's entirely coincidental that there are six images, and six blank spots on the video?

coincidental.. maybe not. that's not to say that it's ingame, i just mean it could be a fan messing about who intentionally put 6 images to coincide with the 6 blanks in the video.

there's just too much leading to the fact that it is NOT IN GAME, hence GANOTME, aairmover, and the TYPO binary.
Sure, the 'fan' might have put some coincidental things in there, and maybe it is just damage control. People make mistakes, and I'll bet anything that perlplexcity was one of them.

If it had been made as a redirect by the PMs, wouldn't they have just redirected instantly, rather than make a page?
In other words, they didn't make this, and all the signs point to someone just helping them out.

Source Code... Hi ya,
Checked this site the other day - nothing there, now this! cool (Definatly looks in game)
I'm surprised no one has spotted the following from within the html source...
Quote:
<div align="center">aairmover<br><!--3519847977 3624534352 --> <br>
Those two numbers from e ??
(remember the errorlog folder)
I'll post the rest of the html if you want (but should be easy for everyone to see by doing a "View source" on the page)
OR..
Am i missing something obvious about this ? (lol probably!)
